She chuckled. "Well that's nice to know." She started walking down the street, glancing back and hoping he was following.
-
He walked alongside the human, looking at everything around them. This place was actually fairly... pleasant, compared to back at home. He wasn't sure how to make conversation with her. He briefly considered running, but realized that would look somewhat suspicious.
-
She glanced at him for a moment. "So what is your homeworld like?" She knew people wouldn't pay attention, they never did.
-
"Violent, but powerful because of it. Very dry and sandy... Oh, and constantly at war with a species we share it with. We--" he stopped as he ran straight into someone. Blink stared nervously and watched in complete shock as the human apologized and walked past him. "See?" he told Sadie as he joined her once again. "At home, he would've beat me up and continued on his way. If he was high enough up in status, no one would mind if he killed me for something like that."
-
She nodded a bit. "Earth is like that sometimes. Were always at war with someone or vice versa. But there are people that keep peace." She smiled a bit. "Us humans aren't so bad."
-
He shrugged. "I guess not. If you were better, you'd let me have my craft back. I told you, I know how to fix it. Isn't that what they'd want?" The alien glanced across the street, spotting a vehicle with a bumper sticker on the back, donning the name Aaron and a number, which was probably some human child's in an earth sport. "Is Aaron a male name?" he asked quietly.
-
She sighed. "Look I'm sorry about your craft or what ever it is, but they probably are scrapping the parts. I'm sorry." She blinked and shrugged. "Its a unisex name. It could go for a boy or girl really."
-
"So Earth has Unibeings too?" he asked. "Also, I've been thinking about that name you suggested earlier, Alphonse. I like it." The alien knew that the humans wouldn't know how to get rid of some of the parts, or even what they were, and was convinced they wouldn't fully take it apart. Not yet, at least.
-
"Well names that could go either way, yes. If you're going about the point they look like a guy but is actually a transgender chick, yes." She grinned. "Really? I named my dog that when I was little." She glanced around. "Well point at a clothes store you want to go to."
-
"No, that's not what I mean. I mean those of our species that are above gender. They're usually the societal leaders?" He shrugged. "I don't know. I know nothing about earth clothing trends."
-
"Oh...well yeah." She glanced around and dragged him into a hipster store. "We'll shop here."
-
"Oh... okay." He looked around. There were plenty of different things... he wasn't sure what to go for. He noticed a dress across the room, and found himself very interested. It was long and flowy enough that he wouldn't need to wear pants, which would make it ideal... Sadie seemed to be looking at other things, though, so he followed her around instead.
-
Sadie looked around at alot of clothes, almost taking up an hour trying to get him to put things on, which wasn't bad, just extremely time consuming.
-
Between one dressing room visit and the next, Alphonse paused to ask Sadie about the dresses. "You haven't even looked at them. Are they not attractive or something?" He looked at himself in the mirror, not entirely sure about human fashion, but knowing that this looked good on him regardless.
-
She glanced at the dresses for a moment. "Blink...a guy wearing a dress isn't the social norm here. I mean yeah some guys do...but those are a kindof taboo to some people."
