She paused for a moment to understand his movement, but she soon caught on a nodded yes. "Yes, one of these is for you." She glanced at his claws and got a curious look on her face, wondering how sharp his claws were or even if the felt like how her iguanas felt when she still had him. She reached out slowly for his large scaly hand and poked one of his claws.
-
(Get him a metal nail file or something gdi)
He pulled back as soon as the talon broke her skin, a drop or two of blood emerging from the puncture. He looked even guiltier now that he'd actually managed to hurt her. He brought his hands up to his chest to keep her from touching them again. -
She blinked and soon panicked lightly. "Blink I'm fine, I'm fine. I handle aliens with sharper claws every day, you should see half the scars I have." She tried to reassure him that she was fine. She wrapped her finger with a towel and saw the guilt in his eyes. "I'm sorry I was curious..." she now started to look guilty about what she did. "I could...get you a nail filer tomorrow if you need me too."
-
What?" he asked, worried for her wellbeing. However, it came out in an angry snarl. From now on, if he had to touch her, it'd be with his tail. There was no way he could cut her with that. His stomach grumbled again, and he was tempted to reach out and grab the meat from her. Outside, the sun was starting to set.
-
She groaned and tapped her watch three times out if habit, sighing lightly. "This is complicating." She unwrapped the meat and turned on the stove, placing a pan on one of the burners before doing so and places the steak onto it slowly. Her stomach growled loudly and she sighed again, mumbling to herself as she cooked.
-
He leaned against the counter, watching her with interest. For some reason, the pinkness of the meat reminded him of all of the pink in the video earlier, which reminded him of relating it to Sadie. He was disgusted by himself for suddenly remembering that. That memory was uncalled for at the moment. Instead of rushing off to vomit again, he tried to look anywhere but at her.
-
She waited until the steak was meadium rare and placed it onto a plate. "I didn't know if you liked your meat bloody or not, but I think...medium rare will work?" Sadie partially knew that she really was just talking to herself. She placed his plate onto the counter and started cooking her own. She thought about how work would be tomorrow. They were probably already destroying the craft right now.
-
He grabbed the chunk of meat and shoved it in his mouth, scarfing it down in one mouthful. Seemingly satisfied, he washed off the plate in the sink and left it there, watching her as she cooked her own food. Maybe his actions would be considered rude. Then again, he had no idea. And he was practically starving.
-
She didn't watch him scarf down the food she made, but really she didn't mind. He was starving so really it shouldn't bother her. She finished her steak and placed it on a plate, she grabbed a fork and a knife from the drawer and started eating slowly, not wanting to be quick about it. This was her first meal in a couple of days.
-
His tail swished back and forth as he watched her. When she looked to him, he dipped his head as a sign of his gratitude. He couldn't actually say thanks, but he could show her that he appreciated her.
Part of him wondered about his craft. It was probably being destroyed as he stood there pondering the matter. There was virtually no way he'd be able to escape, in that case. Swallowing his anger and homesickness, he started to plan how to best adjust. -
She watched him nod his head and she smiled widely. "You're welcome." She thought for a moment and wondered if she'd be able to get a piece from the craft to give to him. She finally finished and placed her plate in the sink and washed it quickly. She then walked into the living room and sat down.
-
He followed her out to the living room and sat next to her, feeling a bit better than he had after scratching her. They seemed to be communicating, despite not being able to talk. Sitting on the couch was awkward, though, since Blink was much taller and lankier. His legs hardly fit on it, and his tail fell into her lap lazily.
-
She glanced at him and started to laugh lightly at how he looked slightly awkward sitting on the couch. Sadie tried to cover her mouth, it was slightly rude to laugh, but she couldn't help herself. She of course started shaking while she was laughing.
-
He nudged her playfully, pretending to be offended. Laughter seemed to cross all language barriers, even those from another world. After a while, he reached for the TV remote, unsure of what it was for or how it worked. He held it out to her, as if asking for an explanation.
-
She stuck her tongue out to him and glanced at the remote, taking it from his hand. She then turned on the tv and saw a cartoon channel was on, she Rafael watched tv, but when she did it was usually cartoons. She didn't really have much of a childhood, but that didn't seem to bother her. She the glanced at him to see how he would react.
