He put on his backpack and headed towards the door; making sure he grabbed everything of his. -
Luke's abusive mom as a teacher xD NOPE
Recalling that he wanted to see the other, he hurriedly collected his belongings racing after him. "Hey!" he called. "Wait!" -
Jack stopped before he exited the room and turned towards Luke. "Hey." Jack said casually.

He smiled a tiny bit. He was a whole lot more shy in school, but even so, he said, "H-hey." Finally, a conversation with someone that wasn't going to torture him or mess with hom.

"Its a bit of a coincidence that we have the same algebra class time." Jack said to look.

Luke, not look.

"Mhm. I-I'm surprised we haven't met be-before." He slung his backpack over his shoulders, looking to the boy.

"Well, with me i am always caught up with work to where i hardly notice things." Jack said in response.

"I can understand...Usually I'm just writing. Maths makes my head hurt." He made a sour face, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Same for me. But, i just learn to deal with it." Jack replied.

"Mm..What do you have next?" He asked, anxiously waiting for a response. It was the very first time in months that he'd spoken to anyone besides his journal and his cat.

"Biology."Jack smiled, Biology was the only subject he actually liked. Science has always had an interest on him, but he never accepted himself as a nerd or geek.

"Darn it, I have Honors English." He inwardly sighed, looking to his shoes. He had secretly been hoping that they had more classes than they thought. Even if algebra was the only one, he'd be fine with that.

"Oh..." Jack then heard the bell ringing, which meant it was time for the next class. "Well, time for class. Hey, see you at lunch?"

"Yeah, at lunch." He nodded, parting from the other male and heading off after giving a quick wave. It was then that he gave a wide smile to himself, a happiness settling into his stomach.
(only because this happened to me before
you know this is a romance later on, yeah?)
