(:3 time skip?)
Once in bed, it took him what seemed to be ages to fall asleep, like always. He lay in terror that he would have a flashback or a nightmare, and so he had pulled the cover up to his shoulder in order to feel somewhat safer. -
(*Nods head* Uh huh.)
-
Kay. :3
In the morning, Luke readied himself at top speed. He wore the black sweatshirt from the night before, black skinny jeans, and white converse. Rushing downstairs, he wanted to leave earlier than usual, so he grabbed a banana and his backpack, heading to the door. He sighed, realizing his father had left. Strolling out onto the sidewalk, he started off. -
Jack was fast asleep when all of a sudden his alarm clock wen't off. Startled, he fell out of bed. "Oh, time to get up." He then weakly hit the snooze button and stood up; Stretching and then walked towards his dresser. He grabbed a black t shirt with a white bloody skull guitar on it with words written on it saying *Rock out!*. He then put on his Nike shoes and grabbed his backpack and headed out of his room. Jack walked into the kitchen and put some bread in the toaster and grabbed out the butter from the fridge. He yawned, waiting for the toast to be done. Just then he heard the *Pop* of the toaster and he then grabbed the toast and put butter on it. He decided to take his toast with him, so he grabbed a paper towel and grabbed his toast and headed out of his apartment; making sure to grab his keys.
(That kind of reminds me how most of my school mornings go... :3) -
(Mine is just like Luke's, as well. xP)
He walked slower than he usually did, probably because he felt sluggish and depressed. Though hia medicine was supposed to help, lately, it has been working less and less. He hadn't even lowered the dosage. He stared at the concrete as he continued along, -
( Haha. xD)
Jack walked outside and headed towards his school. He hummed a song he had stuck is in head, as he walked on the sidewalk to his school. Jack kept thinking about last night. WILL i meet Luke again? He asked himself. Jack took a bite of his toast as he walked. -
(I love incorporating actual experiences into characters.)
Once he was at the school, there was only a few minutes left before the school opened. He was upset, and he was probably just going to make a beeline for the boiler room, something he did when he didn't feel like going through the school day. There, he would write in his journal until he felt that he couldn't. -
Jack arrived at his school; He stared at the building as if he was debating whether or not to go in. He then adjusted his backpack on his shoulder and shoved the empty paper towel in his pocket. 'What's today going to be like?' Jack thought himself as he headed towards the school doors. He wanted to get there before the school was flooded with people.
(I agree. It makes the character more... alive. ) -
(Very much so.)
The loud, annoying bell sounded off, alerting the students to head in. Luke filed into the school, attempting to stay against the walls. He needed to get to the boiler room, and fast. That was the only way he could sit in peace. As bad as it was, he only mssed certain days, so it wasn't like he'd get into trouble if he did it correctly. -
Jack watched as students fled into the school like a rabid pack of birds or wild wolves, the noises of shoes against the school floor and loud talking drowned out the loud ring of the school bell. "Another glorious day..." Jack said sarcastically as he walked to his first class.

Oops oops oops
He stepped pass every classroom, making his way to the very end of the hallway. He checked around himself, making sure no one was watching him before slowly stepping downstairs. He only hoped that it wouldn't be like the night beforem as he just wanted to be alone. -
Jack sat down at a desk and plopped his backpack next to him, as he waited for class to start. He watched a couple of girls walk into the room, talking loudly and laughing like chipmunks. Jack groaned as he layed his head down on his desk. He hated school, but he just put himself to just go with it.

laughing like chipmunks >-> indeed
Luke made the whole way to the boiler room. He sat with his back against the wall, setting his backpack right in front of him. Unzipping it, he began to rummage through his items in an act to find his journal and his favorite pen. In the midst of doing so, hw sneezed loudly. He sighed, hoping that the noise wouldn't travel through the vents. -
Just then, Mrs. Patterson the Algebra teacher walked through the door. "Alright class, lets get started." She said with a annoying voice, Jack always hated. HE then pulled out his Notebook and a black pen and plopped them down on his desk.
