"Only a few rooms down," the nurse answered, wheeling her to the room. "Like I said, very gentle. No hugging him to death, no touching the wound directly. VERY careful."

Rayna sighed kind of annoyed with all these rules that she's going though. "okay, Okay, i got it," she says.

"Otherwise, you could worsen his condition and that isn't necessary." She opened the door to his room, pushing Rayna in.
Hunter was leaning against his father, staring sadly at the floor. -
Rayna cleared her throat at what she saw. "I almost thought the guy you were hugging was Haymitch for a second," Rayna joked a little.

Hunter heard her voice and searched the room. "Rayna..." he said, his voice drifting.

Rayna smiles a little. She wishes she can hold him, she wishes that she could kiss him as if there was nothing to worry about. She wishes they could lay side by side in a bed like they did before the twisted games started. She wished for all of this, but she knew that in the state that they were both in, they couldn't do any of that stuff right now. "I'm here," Rayna says.

Henry looked to her. "Thank you, so, so much," he explained. "You were there for him throughout the games, I cannot thank you enough."
Hunter's eyes glistened. "We made it," he said, his voice cracking. -
Rayna's face heated up a little, knowing that this was Hunters father. He probably watched them make out several times on live television which is probably kind of weird. "You're welcome," Rayna says softly with a smile. Rayna then turned to Hunter. "Of course we did. You always have your birlliant plans."

Hunter coughed, and Henry backed off. "I'm so proud of you two. This is the first time this has ever happened in the games."
Hunter stared longingly at Rayna. -
Rayna gave a smile at Hunters father and laughed a little. She then turned her gaze over to Hunter to see him looking and her and Rayna smiled and the floor, as if they were kids in school and she had a huge crush oh him. Rayna looked back up, her eyes shining with tears.

Hunter's dad nonchalantly stood and wheeled Rayna closer to Hunter before getting back to his seat. He was still very proud of the two.
Hunter let out a shaky breath. -
"Thank you," Rayna thanked, her voice shaking as she looked back over to Hunter. "D-Dose it hurt?" she asks, not knowing if she should reach for his hand.

Hunter gave a small, faltering smile, nodding sadly. "Yeah, it hurts. But I'll be okay, I promise. And your leg?" He was growing drowsy from the drugs.

Rayna shrugged but winced when she did. "It only hurts when I stand on it," she says, her teeth gritted and her eyes squeezed shut. She slowly opened her eyes and looked back at Hunter.

"If you're sure.." His head involuntarily plopped back onto the pillow.
Henry watched on, wanting to be positive that his son wasn't going into anything medical related.
