Hearts do that. xD
luh ya tooooo
"She's wasn't a coward, the PeaceKeeper was an a--hole, like you," he said, shaking as memories began to flood back. This only sparked another burst of anger, and he threw one knife, aiming for the lower half of Cato's body. -
oh okay... XD
*inserts a heart*
Cato jumped away a little but the knife scrapped the side of his leg. the knife then hit the Cornucopia and ricocheted and also scraped Rayna's leg as well, making it bleed a little.
Rayna let her arrow fly in shock to have the Arrow go way off course. Cato looked back and smiled and then looked to Hunter. "Careful or else you'll kill your girlfriend," he taunts.
"It's okay Hunter!" Rayna says. "It was a one time thing and it's not bleeding too bad!" rayna began to load her bow again. -
you is nice
you is friend
Hunter was seriously on the verge of an emotional breakdown. He took a deep breath, staring at him with fury. He gripped his other knife, aiming not with it, but with his eyes. He bit the corner of his lip, focusing intensely. -
yay!
Cato smiled and then began to rush after Hunter his sward out.
Rayna's breath caught in her throat as Cato started to move. "Closer," she says to herself as she begins to run towards him. -
OHEMGEEE YAS.
Hunter then realized that...He did want to lose the games. He knew he promised Rayna that he would stay, but he felt that there was no possible way he could handle it. Or was there? He wasn't sure. Something pulled at his heart, maybe sorrow, maybe excitement. Nothing seems to be reality, anymore. Cato was merely just evil, and Hunter was on the other end of the stick. -
:3
Cato then made a slash across Hunters chest. Rayna let out a scream and she shot Cato in the shoulder, making Cato scream. "YOU b------!" she shouted. Cato stiffly faced Rayna. -
Hunter felt the wound, as it had definitely started to bleed. His mind turned even fuzzier as he watched what went on before him. Before he dropped to his knees, he aimlessly threw his knife at Cato, waiting to see what happened. The pain from his chest was indeed excruciating, and he let himself begin to sob.
-
Cato stopped. He just stood there looking blankly at Rayna. He dropped his sward and fell to his knees. He then looked up at Rayna. "you win," he says before he falls down dead, the cannon going off.
Hot tears were streaming down Rayna's face as she dropped her bow and rushed to Hunters side. "No, no, no, no," says over and over again while bending over him. -
"Now, it's two of us," he coughed, remembering his promise. "Nightlock, we both need nightlock. They can't have no winner, please, get nightlock," he managed to tell her through his waterworks. He was trembling, slowly heading into shock.
-
dude I'm crying again now this is so sad.
Rayna nodded. "Okay, okay," she says while standing up, limping a little because of her leg which was bleeding. "I'll be right back, just hold on." Rayna begins to get off the Cornucopia and she runs into the forest blindly. -
yeah but it's games of hunger so we have to have it like that ;-;
Hunter felt the blood spewing out of the wound. It was slow, but it was a lot. His hands covered in the icky red stuff, he squeezed his eyes shut, hoping that it was some sort of sick, twisted, f---ed up nightmare.
/time to bring in his daddy/
Hunter's father's heart dropped. His beloved son made it this far. He stood, staring at the bleeding boy. "Hunter, never give in to the cause of your sadness," he whispered, watching as Hunter cried.
In the games, a quote his father always told him flashed through his mind. "Never give into the cause of your sadness, Hunter," he told himself. "Never give in, never give in." This seemed to be giving him enough strength to at least lift his head. -
;-;
Rayna rushes though the forest, limping on her bad leg as she rushes though the forest. She searched for what seemed like hours even if she looked as fast as she could.
Rayna tripped over something and she feel into a bush. She looked around in the dimming light and she saw that they were nightlock, something they have a lot in district twelve. Rayna sighed, gathering the berries, not fearing death, only fearing the fact that Hunter is dying.
Rayna stood up and noticed that the bush was huge. She quickly walked though it to find a few Tracker Jackers were out of their nest. She screamed which alarmed and the five Tracker Jackers went after her even as she was running stinging her.
Rayna didn't care and she ignored the pain as she ran. She had to get to Hunter and so far the venom wasn't effecting her too much. -
my heart stings okai ;-;
He eventually stopped trying, staring up at the sky, waiting for Rayna. He covered his arms over the wound in a attempt to control the bleeding. He remembered...this was how if felt with his mother, the blood all over him...and it scared him, a lot. He was dying under the same idiotic power that killed his mother, and that was unacceptable. Completely.
Haymitch watched on, whispering, "Come on, Hunter, you can do this, you can." He ran a hand through his lengthy hair, taking a swig of whiskey. he felt like he was losing his own child. -
*huggles*
Rayna was running back, the pain in her leg and her stings foggiing her mind a little. she finally made it to the Cornucopia and she climbed up while she still had her thoughts. She leaned over Hunter. "I got it, I got it Hunter," she says slurred, her breathing heavy as the stings in the little skin showing, her hands neck and chest, were begining to take over her mind. -
-huggles back-
He swallowed the lump in his throat. he was exhausted, he was powerless, he wanted nothing but to die. But he made a promise to Rayna and breaking that just wouldn't be acceptable. "Gi-give me some of it and you have some of it. On the count of three, we r-r-raise the be-berries like we're going to eat them, they'll stop the games, I know it." He was positive that the plan was fool-proof.
