"My legs fine, it wasn't your fault," Rayna explains, finally reaching for his hand. That's when the nightmares of Hunter doing the same thing that those other boys did to her back in twelve flooded her mind again.

"I didn't mean to, really.." he noticed her hand and lovingly took it. He yawned, about ready to fall asleep. He fought to stay awake, only because he had missed Rayna so much.

"I know you didn't," Rayna says softly, while trying to move closer, trying to ignore the choking feeling in her throat. "Besides, falling off the Cornucopia hurt more than a stupid cut," she states.

"I still feel horrible, I hurt you, and I couldn't even control it." His head tilted a bit as he sighed.

"Hunter, please don't be," Rayna says, her voice cracking and choking a little, trying to push away the horrible dream memories. "Besides, I was the one who-" Rayna stopped, thinking it was a bad time to bring it up.

Hunter pouted, "No, please, go on.." He swallowed, his mouth becoming dry, the sleepiness taking hold of him.

Rayna's free hand began to shake and she completely forgot that Hunters dad was in the room as well. "No, it's a bad time," Rayna said, looking down at their hands.

"But I-..." he yawned. "...Want to knowwww." He was quite loopy, and most likely would not remember the situation when he awoke.

Rayna let out a harsh breath and she closed her eyes. "Kyland... Rue..." she whispered, hardly loud enough for him to hear.

Hunter heard this and grew depressed. "Yes, I understand.." A few tears slipped from his closed eyelids.

Rayna sunk her head lower and lower with each second of silence that she let slip by. "Y-You should get some sleep now," she says.

"Will you stay with me?" he asked, worried.

"Of course," Rayna said instantly, her voice soft. "Of course I will," she says again, though she started to doubt it in her mind. The memories were still tugging at her, and she was afraid she'd have a mental break down from her memories and the things that she's done.

Hunter then let himself fall.
Henry went over and pat her shoulder. "You don't have to stay.." -
Rayna jumped in surprise a little at Hunters dad and she looked up at him. She sniffed and looked back down at Hunter. "It's okay... unless you want me to leave," Rayna says.
