Saphirre quickly thanked him again and examined the new food. "Do I just...pick it up?" She asked, tilting her head at the slice of pizza.

He nodded as he was grabbing himself some pizza. "Yeah but people do come up with weird ways to eat pizza though." He poured his drink into his own cup and took a bite of his pizza.

"Like what?" She asked curiously, carefully lifting up her slice of pizza and taking a small bite. She paused to chew and swallow before glancing at Daniel with another small smile. "That's amazing." It wasn't like anything else she'd ever eaten.

He grinned. "I knew you'd like. Well people eat it with forks and butterknives, but eating it with your hands is simpler." He pointed at her cup. "Take a drink of that stuff."

She lifted the cup to her lips and took a small sip. She immediately swallowed and put the cup down, making a face. "It's...fizzy." She stated, trying to decide whether or not she liked it.

He of course started to laugh lightly at her observation. "Of course, it's called pop. I don't drink it a lot because I only drink it when I have the craving for some."

"It's weird." She said, eyeing the cup suspiciously. She turned back to her pizza. "You can have mine if you want."

"What have your drink or your pizza?" He reached for her pizza teasingly and had a playful smirk on his face.

Saphirre shrunk away, taking his words literally. "O-Oh, you can have that too if you want it..."

He blinked lightly and shook his head. "Saphirre I was joking. You can still have your pizza." He sighed lightly. "I'm gonna go to bed early...you could have some more if you want, just when you're done eating as much as you need put the leftovers in the fridge." He got up and started to walk to his room.

Saphirre silently watched him go. Her smile had vanished. He seemed upset, and she felt overwhelmingly guilty. She must've done something wrong. She miserably finished the rest of her pizza and put the drink and the rest of the pizza in the fridge as he'd instructed.

He walked into his room and frowned lightly. It was unbearably hot in the room. He started to slip off his shirt, not even noticing his door was still open. He walked over to the window and opened it slightly.

Saphirre decided to go to her own room for the night. She walked past Daniel's opened door and just happened to catch a glimpse of his bare upper body. She blushed and quickly kept walking, slipping silently into her room and laying on her side, still careful not to put pressure on her wings.

He heard Saphirre rush off quickly to her room and blinked lightly. He glanced at his door to see it open and a blush crept onto his cheeks. She probably saw him half naked and rushed off. He heard a loud crash of thunder and saw Ron shoot into his room, hiding under the bed.

Saphirre jumped up immediately at the sound of the thunder. Yet another thing she didn't have much experience with, she was confused and frightened. She rose a little shakily and hurried back over to Daniel's doorway. "W-What was that?" She asked in a hushed whisper.
