Saphirre gently lifted Ron off her lap and onto the couch, quickly going over to the door. She opened it and held it open for him. She recalled him saying something about only opening the door for him, but it had sounded like him so she knew it was alright. People wouldn't lie about something as simple as a name, right?
-
Daniel grinned at her and walked into the apartment soaked. "Work let me off early which is a good thing." He glanced at the tv and blinked. "What are you watching...?"
-
Saphirre wished she could get him something to dry off but she didn't know where anything was in the apartment. When he asked about the tv she looked at it and shrugged slightly, hoping she hadn't done anything thing wrong. "I-I dunno. It just came on. Ron showed me how to use this," She held up the remote. "But only how to change the pictures."
-
He chuckled lightly and shook his head. "It's fine, you didn't do anything wrong." He glanced at Ron on the couch. "He's smart cat to show you how to use it." He took the remote from her carefully and changed it to a more interesting channel.
-
She let out a little sigh of relief and looked up him. "You're all wet. Do you have a towel or something I can get you?" She asked a little timidly.
-
He blinked lightly and nodded. "Yeah, it's in the bathroom. I didn't know I was that soaked." He chuckled lightly and slipped off his coat, placing it on the rack near the door. "So did you have fun?"
-
She went to the bathroom and grabbed a towel, quickly slipping back to him and holding it out with a nod. "Y-Yes I did." He was still being so nice, she honestly wasn't sure how to act...Maybe it was because she hadn't done anything wrong yet. She made a mental note not to mess up. She wanted to keep him in a good mods as long as she could. Saphirre hadn't seen him angry yet, but she didn't want to.
-
He nodded and started to rub the towel in his hair, trying to dry it off. "Thank you." He blinked and tilted his head down at her. "I need to check your wing, see if it's getting any better."
-
Saphirre nodded. "Okay." She hadn't given it much thought until now, but both wings felt much better than they had yesturday. They were still a little sore and stiff, but the pain was noticably more bearable.
-
He walked behind her and stretched it out gently. "hm...it looks better than yesterday and the bone is mending perfectly." He smiled down at her. "You'll be fine in another day or two." He started to walk to his room. "I need to change."
-
Saphirre nodded, glad her wing was healing well. When he went to change she sat back down on the couch next to Ron and sighed. She doubted she'd ever really understand his reasons for being so kind. She shook her head bemusedly and sighed again.
-
He changed into a grey shirt and black sweatpants. He walked out of his room and sat on the couch. He glanced over at her. "Have you ate anything today?"
-
She shook her head. No one had been around to offer anything, and to just take food for herself...well, surely she would've been punished for that.
-
He smiled lightly and got up. "I'll make you something. What sounds good to you?" He glanced back at her, hoping she'd give an answer.
-
Saphirre hesitated. She didn't have much experience with real human food. "...What you made this morning was good." She said quietly. She'd seen the scientists eating all sorts of things durin her time at the lab, but nothing she could identify.
