Saphirre sniffed eagerly at the smell of breakfast, the same he'd made yesturday. She quickly finished sweeping and walked into the kitchen, holding the broom out. "I'm done." She said with a little smile.
-
He nodded and took the broom and placed it back to where it was. "Go ahead and eat. You said you liked what I cooked yesterday so I made it again." He smiled lightly.
-
She grinned and eagerly went over to the plate, beginning to eat. "Thank you!" She piped between bites, looking quite content.
-
He grinned back and started eating his plate. "You're welcome." He heard his side beep loudly and he groaned. "Could they for once let me eat in peace." He grabbed the pager off from his side and glanced at it.
-
Saphirre blinked and looked at the pager when it beeped. She paused in her eating for a moment. "What's that?"
-
He glanced up at her. "It's a pager, it tells me what my work needs me for." He thought for a moment until he heard the doorbell ring. He walked quickly to the door and picked up her clothes from the delivery person. He grinned and placed the bags in the living room.
-
"Oh." She followed him, keeping out of the deliveryman's sight, and excitedly looked at the bags. It would be nice to have some clothes of her own.
-
He pointed at the bag. "You can go get dressed." He smiled. "I think I'll take you to work with me today." He leaned against the wall near the door and waited.
-
"Really?" She grabbed the bags and ran happily off to her room, quickly changing into a pair of jeans her size and bright green shirt. She slipped into her new shoes and stepped back out. "Do I look okay?" She asked, a little nervously.
-
He blushed lightly and nodded. "You look great. Um...we'll need to cover your wings though." He grabbed one of his jackets and helped put it on her. "There, now we can go." He smiled and opened the door.
-
She stepped through the door with a little smile. She was excited and interested to go see Daniel working, and it was nice to get out. Being cooped up in the apartment was fine, she knew she had to hide her wings, but it was still enjoyable to go elsewhere for a while.
-
He walked after her and had an umbrella in his hands. He made it go up and cover them from the rain as he led the way to the veterinarian hospital for her. When they got to the place he opened the door for her and closed the umbrella, instantly getting soaked.
-
Saphirre gasped softly and pulled him inside out of the rain. She glanced around the clinic with wide eyes, not familiar with most of the objects around.
-
He laughed lightly and shook some of the rain out of his hair. "Thanks." He watched her look around in what seemed to be confusion. He took her hand and led her to where the recovering animals were at. "I watch over these little guys." The animals all barked, meowed and even a few chirps came from the cages. "They wanted me to look at a puppy that's not taking his medicine. You can look at them but don't let them out."
-
Saphirre spotted a cage full of brightly colored finches and rushed over, eyeing the birds with a soft smile. She cooed at the birds and giggled in delight when they twittered back at her.
