He chuckled lightly and went to one of the cages at the end of the building and brought out a little puppy pit bull and placed it onto a table in the center of the room. He looked the puppy over and blinked, mumbling lightly and scribbling things down.

Saphirre approached the table and watched him, interested. She smiled at the creature on the table. It looked a bit like Ron, roughly the same size and covered in fur.

The little puppy turned and looked at her, barking loudly. Daniel blinked lightly and chuckled. "You can pet him if you want." He then went back to scribbling.

Saphirre smiled and reached a hand out for the little creature to sniff. She gave it a little scratch behind the ears. "Does it have a name?"

The pup sat down and started kicking his hind leg when she scratched his ear. Daniel shook his head. "Some workers found him and a few other puppies abandoned by their work. Poor things..." he petting the poor little pup.

Saphirre frowned. "Why would they abandon them?" She asked, continuing to softly pet the pup. Humans were something she knew she'd proably never understand. They were all so different. People like Daniel were completely oppasite of people like the ones who'd abandoned the poor creature.

"Couldn't handle having more dogs in their house." He sighed lightly. "Seems like this poor thing has worms. I'll have to give him some chewable tablets to eat and they'll be all gone." He walked over to a cabinet and pulled out some chewable tablets.

She nodded, relieved that he'd taken out tablets rather than a needle or something. She'd seen a case of needles when they'd first walked into the hospital and it made her nervous, reminding her a little too much of the tools at the lab.

He popped one tablet out and held it out for the pup. The little dog gobbled it up and looked up at him asking for more. He laughed lightly and lifted the dog up and to his cage to join his siblings. "You'll get another one tomorrow little pup." He closed the gate and glanced up at her. "I want to do an x-ray of your wing please."

Saphirre nodded, then glanced around. "Okay...are you sure no one will see?"

He shook his head no. "No, I'll lock the x-ray room so no one can get it." He walked over and took her hand gently, walking her to the x-ray room. He sat her down on a table and pulled the x-ray machine off the wall and glanced at her. "I need you to take the tank top off to get a full look at the wing." he was blushing lightly.

She took off his jacket to reveal her wings and stretched them out, treating her broken one carefully. She blushed scarlet and tugged at the edge of her shirt. "Oh...okay..." She was hesitant though, embarrased.

He was still blushing and waited patiently. "I'm sorry but the cloth of the tank top would make the x-ray fuzzy..."

Saphirre relented and pulled the top off, blushing deeply and hugging her arms around herself. She turned away and spread her wings towards him.

He kept blushing as he started the machine and took x-ray's of both her wings, to see if he missed anything. He turned the machine off and glanced at her. "You can put your shirt back on. I...have to get the pictures." He walked out of the room and made sure the door was locked.
