Scarlet looked over at Silver. "...Not from around here." She paused. "Not even from this world, actually..." She confessed. No point in hiding it, the ears and tail were enough of a give-away.

I nodded. "Yeah. That makes a lot of sense." She said. "So... how did you end up here?" She didn't want to pry too much, but she was curious...

Scarlet shuddered. "His name is Rath. He's a much more powerful being than you or me. He's been chasing me for months, trying to capture me..." She nervously flicked her tail. "He chased me into the human realm and wounded me. I was lucky you found me." She finished shyly. Scarlet was truly grateful to Silver.

Silver smiled. "I'm glad I found you. You're the most interesting person I've ever met in my life!" She laughed. "The way you got here sucks, though... say, my parents are on a business trip... would you like to stay here for a while?"

"Stay...here? With you?" Her red-furred ears perked up and she smiled rather excitedly. "Could I really?" Constantly on the run, it had been a long time since Scarlet had settled in anywhere.

"Of course!" Silver said. "My parents are away, and I'd be all alone! You can stay!" She was quite excited about this idea.

"Oh, thank you!" Without thinking, the small neko practically tackled Silver in a hug.

Silver laughed, hugging Scarlet back. "You're welcome!" She giggled out.

Scarlet quickly backed away, blushing. "S-Sorry!" She squeaked, embarrassed. "Thank you though, really." She smiled.

Silver giggled. "It's fine. And really, you're welcome! I'm just so happy I'm not gonna be alone!" Happy. She hadn't felt that in a long time....

She smiled again, but blushed her name when her stomach growled loudly. She'd forgotten that she hadn't eaten in a while...

"Oh! What would you like to eat?" Silver asked politely. She has almost forgotten that Scarlet looked half starved.

"Anything's fine really, I'm not picky." Scarlet said with another shy smile. Silver really was one of the nicest people she'd ever met. Certainly the nicest human.

Silver thought for a second, passing a finger to her cheek. "Oh! How does macaroni and cheese sound?" She asked. It was one of the only things she could make, plus they had tons of it. It would be done within a matter of minutes if she made it in the microwave.

Scarlet nodded eagerly. "Yes please!" She used to eat that all the time when she was small- well, smaller. Her stomach growled again and she blushed. "Sorry..."
