"It's fine! Stop apologising so much!" Since said, smiling at Scarlet. "Come on!" She dragged Scarlet into the kitchen with a gentle hold on her wrist. She got out two macaroni and cheese cups, mixing in water and placing them in the microwave, setting the timer.

Scarlet let a small giggle break through as Silver pulled her along. She was almost surprised, she hadn't laughed in a long time. She sniffed the air as the smell of cheese sauce slowly became clear.

The microwave made a ding! sound, and Silver opened the door, pulling out the macaroni cups. She got them two spoons and sat down at the table, gesturing Scarlet over and holding out her spoon and macaroni.

The small cat girl eagerly took the cup from Silver and began eating. Her ears perked up and she sighed happily. "This is delicious. Thank you!" She exclaimed.

Silver giggled at Scarlet's cute sigh. "You're welcome. I love macaroni and cheese... it's simple and delicious."

She nodded quickly in agreement. "It's one of my favorites." She told Silver with a smile. Strangely, Scarlet felt a small attachment to this human. She wanted to get to know her, to be closer to her.

Silver continued on her way with her hearty meal. "So... can you tell me more about yourself? Things you enjoy, things you dislike... anything?"

Scarlet thought for a moment. "Well...I like macaroni and cheese." She started with a small smile. "And napping in warm places." She wrinkled her nose. "I hate the cold. And loud noises. Like thunder." She shuddered. "What about you?" -

"Well..." Silver looked away. "I don't find many things enjoyable... almost everything is monotone..." she started just pushing around her macaroni in the cup. "Wake up, cut, eat, cut some more, think about suicide, eat, cut, sleep. That's basically my daily schedule."

Scarlet tilted her head in confusion and looked at Silver with wide, innocent eyes. "Cut?" She wasn't sure what Silver had meant by that...

Silver looked down. "I, uh... cut my self on the wrists or thighs with a knife... or sometimes a razor..."

"W-What?!" Scarlet squeaked. "Why would you do that?!" Silver was such a kind, good human. But she was hurting herself...Scarlet didn't understand, and it frightened her.

Silver huddled over her half cup of macaroni. "People aren't really nice to me... so I got what we call "Depression"... and I'm Suicidal... so... Uh..." Silver suddenly realized Scarlet might not know what suicidal meant. "So basically... I make myself feel pain so I can feel better... and eventually i'll probably kill myself... which is what suicide is."

Scarlet dropped her spoon and again nearly tackled Silver over in a hug. She wrapped her arms around Silver's waist. "I don't want you to kill yourself!" She wailed, hugging a little tighter. Silver was really Scarlet's only friend at the moment.
