Silver blinked, surprised at herself. "Oh! I'm Silver. What about you?" She asked. She wanted to know more about this girl. She was, after all, not exactly human...
-
"...Scarlet." She murmured quietly. This human- Silver, she had said was her name- was very odd. She hadn't questioned the fact that Scarlet wasn't human yet, and she had offered to help her. Maybe she could be trusted...
-
Silver nodded. "That's a pretty name." She pointed back over her shoulder. "My house is a couple minutes that way. It's not too far. Can you walk?"
-
Scarlet nodded shyly. At least her legs hadn't been injured, that would've been a disaster...luckily it was only her side, and Silver had said her house was nearby. Scarlet relaxed slightly.
-
Silver smiled. "Follow me." She said, moving towards her house. She was glad that Scarlet could walk. If she couldn't... how would Silver have carried her?
-
Scarlet followed Silver closely. Every snapping branch made her jump, every chirping bird made her flinch. She was still on edge from being chased.
-
Arriving at the house, Silver walked up to the door, opening it. "Here, get settled on the couch, I'll get the first aid kit." She moved up the stairs, towards the bathroom, grabbing the first aid kit.
-
Scarlet slipped inside and curled up on the couch as Silver had instructed her. She glanced around at the large house, momentarily distracted by the sheer size of the place.
-
Jumping down the steps two at a time, I arrived back at the couch, seeing Scarlet curled up on it. "What's injured?" I asked, kneeling next to the couch.
-
Scarlet brought her hands away from her side and uncurled, allowing Silver to see the wound. It was a pretty small scratch, but it was deep.
-
Silver gasped. "That's... snap. Hold on, I'll bind it and treat it..." I pulled out the binding bandages and the antibiotic. "This might sting, sorry..." I said, carefully applying the antibiotic to the wound.
-
Scarlet lowered her ears and winced, but didn't complain as Silver tended the wound. Her tail swished anxiously back and forth and waited for her to finish.
-
Silver finished with the antibiotic and bandaged the wound. "There you go." She said, standing up. "I'll be right back. I'm gonna put away the first aid kit."
-
Scarlet nodded. Her side already felt better; the stinging of the antibiotic had faded along with some of the initial pain. "Thank you." She said, still sounding timid, but feeling slightly more trusting.
-
Silver smiled. "You're welcome." She then hopped up the stairs, returning the first aid kit to where she found it before heading back down and sitting gently next to Scarlet. "So... where are you from?" Asked Silver.
