She laughed and grinned more. "Rrrriiiggghhhttt~" she shook her head and kept sweeping. She loved teasing Maria and she guessed Master Wolfe did too.
-
Maria put down the duster and picked up a broom, starting to help Brenda sweep. "I'm just glad I don't have to handle both your teasing and his at the same time..." She mused with a slight laugh.
-
Brenda felt a lightbulb go off and she looked at Maria. "You know I need a break from the boys, So~ I'm going stay here tonight!" Her plan will be fool proof.
-
Maria tilted her head. "Alright then, forget what I said earlier. I'll just have to put up with both of you." She teased. "You can use one of the guest rooms, I'm sure Sebastian won't mind."
-
"Sebastian huh? So you're on a first name basis with him now?" She smiled playfully. "I know he won't mind really, I used to stay here alot when the oldest tried to harass me."
-
Maria blushed slightly and nodded. "He did say he'd be out late tonight though, so it may just be you and me later today."
-
She nodded back. "I'll cook for you both. How does steak sound?" She sounded giddy, but calmed herself. "It's been a while since I've had a girl to talk to. Even the maid before you talked to me, but we hated each other."
-
"That sounds great. I can help you cook if you like." She offered with a smile. "And I agree, it's been way too long since I've had another girl to talk to."
-
Brenda nodded and grinned. "Girl time is something we both probably need." She blinked and looked at Maria closely. "Hon...you look really pale...are you okay?"
-
Maria tilted her head. She was a little shaken from Clark's unexpected visit, but she didn't feel off or anything. "I'm fine.." She told Brenda, a little confused. "I feel fine, at least."
-
Brenda blinked and shook her head. "Nothing sorry. I thought you looked sick for a moment. Maybe it was after Clark's thing, that's why you're so pale."
-
Maria nodded. "Maybe that's it. That's a little odd though, I feel fine..." She trailed off, returning to her sweeping.
-
Brenda smiled. "Sorry if I worried you just...you're like a sister to me."
-
"No, it's fine." Maria assured her. "If you were sick I'd be worried too." She promised, sweeping the last bit of dust out of a corner.
-
She nodded and sweeped up the last of her area and sighed, hearing the boys go to the door to leave. Oddly enough she was glad she wasn't going home with them.
