Maria hugged her a little tighter. "That won't happen. He's gone now, we're okay, I promise." She stroked her hair like a mother would to a crying child. "It's alright now..."

Brenda soon started to calm down. She hugged Maria back and sighed. "I'm sorry Maria..."

"It's okay, you don't have to apologize." She told Brenda. Maria walked over and picked up a duster. "Maybe working will distract us. Or we could talk about something else. Or we could sing." She added, although immediately after she regretted it, feeling a bit embarrassed. "When I was younger, I would sing when I was upset."

Brenda shook her head and laughed lightly. "I don't judge, but I don't sing really. We'll just focus on a room and work, if we want to we can talk." She summoned a broom like yesterday and went to a random room.

Maria smiled, embarrassed. "Just forget I said that. So...how's living with the boys? I don't think I ever caught their names." She said, trying to strike up a conversation. Maria followed Brenda and started to dust.

She groaned lightly. "A pain in the ass really. They don't clean up after themselves. The oldest one tries to get me to sleep with him. The youngest is scared of the dark and the middle brother and I fight so much." She thought for a moment. "There is Daniel, Gabriel, and Connor. Daniel is the oldest, Gabriel is the second oldest, and Connor is the youngest." She started dusting carefully.

"That sounds...tiring." Maria commented, continuing to dust. "Connor seems really sweet though." She said, recalling the hug he'd given Brenda that first morning.

Brenda smiled and swept the floor carefully. "Yes he is. He's wise for his age too. Gabriel is just an ass to me." She chuckled lightly.
Gabriel walked into the room and frowned. "I am anass thank you very much and you're the one wh hates me Ms. Fiesty Pants." Benda grew red with anger and hurled her broom at him. "Shut up Gabrielle!" that pushed Gabriel over the edge. "Shut up you can't get me off your mind." Brenda had actual steam coming out of her ears when she used magic to finally shove him out of the room and closing the door on him. "Ugh he's annoying!" -
Maria giggled through her fingers. "You two are like an old married couple, arguing like that." She laughed.

Brenda turned an looked at her and she had a very sour look on her face. "Don't you ever say that again Maria. We are not like an old married couple, he is an a--hole that thinks everything is about him!" She huffed and frowned lightly.

Maria smiled and got on with her work. "Alright, whatever you say, Brenda. Maybe you're more like siblings, then, arguing all the time." She offered. Siblings seemed a bit more accurate.

Brenda grumbled under her breath as she went back to sweeping. "So how did you do with Master Wolfe as a wolf...?" She hated silence, but she wanted to know.

Maria thought for moment before replying. "He was...actually very friendly. I, well...I let him out of the cage." She admitted. "But he wasn't upset at all. He was more like a pet dog."

She smiled a bit. "Better than what he did with the brothers. He almost took off Daniel's hand off for getting close. When I watched him he just slept the whole time, I left him clothes and the keys to unlock himself." She glanced at Maria and grinned. "But I don't think you minded seeing him half naked didn't bother you~"

Maria blushed scarlet, which seemed to happen a lot when Brenda was around. "Y-You two are just ridiculous! Honestly, I'm not that indecent..." She mumbled, finishing up her dusting.
