"So...what do you want to do now?" Maria asked, putting the broom and the duster away.

"We could start cooking or just talk some more." She got worried seeing Maria was still pale. "Hon...are you sure you're not sick?"

Maria frowned. "I'm not sure. I feel okay...Even if I was sick, it's not like we can just go find a doctor, so stop worrying." She smiled slightly. "I'll be fine."

She nodded and smiled back. "Alright...lets just start cooking." She started to walk to the kitchen, but felt something was still wrong with her friend.

Maria trailed after her, still a little confused. She felt well enough, but maybe she was sick...But she had to take her own advice and stop worrying about it. There were no doctors around that didn't want to eat her, so she'd just have to deal with it. Maria opened up the fridge and took out the steak Brenda mentioned earlier.

Brenda started to heat up the pan and food started floating in the air. She loved cooking, it got her mind off of things. She hummed to her self as the steaks floated out of Maria's hands and into hers.

Maria smiled, watching the food float around Brenda. Sensing that she wouldn't need her right now, Maria stepped off to the side. "Do you need any help?" She asked. Brenda probably didn't, it looked like she was very capable in the kitchen, but Maria didn't want to be ride.

Brenda blinked and saw the food floating. "I'm sorry Maria, I get...carried away when I'm cooking. I never know when my powers start to help me. I still need help."

Maria laughed lightly. "That's alright. How about I make us some dessert or something?" She asked. This way she could still cook without getting in the way.

She nodded and chuckled lightly. "That would be just fine Maria." She started cooking the steaks carefully.

Maria nodded and began gathering the ingredients to make a cake. "You like chocolate?" She called over her shoulder to Brenda, beginning to make the batter.

Brenda grinned. "You read my mind Maria." She kept her mind on the food. She made everything prefectly by the time she heard Master Wolfe's car roll up near the house. "You know Maria, maybe I should stay here more often...as long as you two aren't at it constantly." She giggled lightly.
Sebastian walked into the house and sighed. He hated coming home late...wait. he sniffed the air and smelled steak and cake batter. He walked near the kitchen and heard Brenda's laughter. -
"Brenda! Honestly!" Maria protested with an embarrassed laugh. She poured the batter into the pan and placed it in the over to bake. "It should be done by the time we've finished eating."

Brenda laughed also and smiled. "That's good! I haven't had cake in a while..."
Sebastian walked into the room and smiled at them both. "Seems you both are enjoying yourself." Brenda jumped at hearing Master Wolfe's voice. -
Maria whirled around and smiled. "You're back!" After what had happened this morning, all she really wanted to do was run over and hug him, but Brenda didn't need any more things to tease her about.
