Sebastian walked over and hugged Maria tightly. "Hey I'm always going to come back." He nuzzled her cheek and smiled down at her. He was glad to be home and see he smiling face.
Brenda rolles her eyes and took the steaks out to the dining room. "Join me once your done with your love fest, lovebirds!" She giggled lightly and placed the food down carefully. -
Maria hugged him tightly and buried her face in his chest. She stayed like that for a moment, relaxing in the safety of his arms. For once, Brenda's teasing didn't phase her.

He blinked and moved her hair a bit to see bruises on her neck that looked like hands. He felt anger fill up inside him and he growled protectively. "Who put their hands on you Maria? Don't lie to me either."

Maria took a step back and covered her neck. "It's nothing." She didn't want to worry him, and if he attacked Clark she knew things wouldn't end well.

He removed her hands and looked worried. "Maria I said please don't lie to me...Tell me who did that to you." He kissed her forehead gently.

"No, don't worry about it." She protested quietly. "Let's just eat. Please?" She looked up at him.

He sighed and nodded his head. "Fine...just if something is bothering you, just tell me please. I hate having things hidden from me." He started to walk out of the kitchen and into the dining room. He then sat down and poked at his steak with his fork.

Maria followed him into the dining room and sat down silently, feeling guilty. But she reminded herself that it was better this way. The marks on her neck would fade and things would go back to normal. She took a bite of the steak. "Brenda, this is amazing!"

Brenda smiled lightly and ate her food. "Of course I'm a great cook." She was going to ask Master Wolfe how he though the food tasted, but she saw how he just poked his food.
Sebastian didn't glance up at the girls as they had their conversation. He hated that Maria was hiding something from him...but he knew she wouldn't tell him. He picked at his steak, not even taking a bite of it. -
Maria sighed and eyed Sebastian. "If I promise to tell you later will you eat?" She asked, sounding concerned. Maria glanced worriedly at Brenda.

He got up and walked out of the room. "I'm not hungry. We both have secrets, lets not make them open." He walked up the stairs and shook his head.
Brenda grabbed Maria's hand before she could leave. "Don't go after him. Just let him clean his head before you go up there Maria." -
Maria frowned and sighed. "I don't know what to do sometimes..." She murmured. "He just...I can't tell him, I know he'd overreact, and I just..." She sighed again. "I don't know."

Brenda frowned and stood up. "Maria he's trying to protect you like I did when Clark held you against the wall! Just let him in like he did with you. He let you into his world, yet you haven't done that with him. If you keep on being scared to tell him anything he's going to shut himself up again."

She closed her and fell silent for a moment, before standing up. "Okay," She spoke quietly. "You're right. I'll tell him." She said with a slight nod.

Brenda smiled and sat down. "Good. Go talk to him now Princess. Have fun with that." She went back to eating her steak happily.
