It let out a happy rumble and licked her arms. It looked at the door and whined lightly, telling her it wanted out for a while. The moon was still high in the sky.
-
Maria sighed and with drew her arms, picking up the keys. The cellar door was still locked, so she figured letting the wolf run around down here wouldn't do any harm. She slowly unlocked the cage and pulled the door open.
-
The wolf sniffed the air and started to walk out slowly, but backed up a step before becoming sure that it could leave. It walked carefully and looked at Maria, walking again to lean against her legs, almost knocking her over.
-
Maria stumbled and nearly fell. She leaned down to rub the wolf's back affectionately. "You're pretty strong.." She told the animal, smiling and scratching it's head.
-
He nuzzled her hand and finally knocked her over. It blinked and went near her face, licking it happily. It was happy to be out of the cage, very happy to be out.
-
Maria giggled and tried to push the wolf off of her, but he was too strong. "Hey s-stop! That tickles!" She protested between laughs.
-
He rumbled lightly and got off her, his tail wagging happily. He nuzzled against her and looked at her.
-
She smiled at him and stroked him lightly. She was a little confused. The other night, Sebastian had been so hostile when his eyes had changed. But now that he had fully changed, he didn't seem monstrous at all. "I don't know why you thought I'd get hurt." She told her wolf, kissing it's nose with a slight giggle.
-
He blinked and tilted its head. He nuzzled her face and licked it again. It glanced at the window and started to see the moon go down. He then walked back to it's cage and curled up on the floor.
-
Maria sat up and watched him. The wolf was completely different from what she'd expected. Rather than a furious beast, it had merely seemed lonely. And it was almost...handsome, in a way. With it's strong muscles and smooth almost-bronze-colored fur.
-
He looked up at her and gave her a okay to close the door again. The moon still started to set slowly. He yawned and stretched, curling back up into a ball.
-
Maria smiled and pushed herself to her feet, wiping a bit of slobber off her cheek from the wolf's many licks. She leaned down and locked the cage again. She hesitated there for a moment. Should she go back upstairs, or wait here with him? She decided to wait, and sat down again. She wasn't too tired anyway.
-
The moon finally set and the sun started to come up, he finally changed back slowly, the fur melted off him and disappeared before it hit the ground. His transformation back wasn't painful at all. He looked like his normal self aside from his hair being a bit longer. He glanced to see Maria down there and he smiled a bit. "Hey..." his ripped clothes still clung to him.
-
Maria jumped a bit. She had almost dozed off. She yawned and rubbed her eyes, standing up. "Hey." She smiled. "You're lucky I stayed down here. If I'd stayed upstairs and slept in you would've been stuck down here." She said, unlocking the cage.
-
He stood up and blinked. "You stayed down here? I thought...I saw you leave." He shook his head. "I don't remember much when I'm in that...form." he looked at her and his hair covered his blue eyes a bit.
