He nodded, and turned to her. "Thank you."

"No problem. If you need anything.." She started, then thought about it for a moment. "Just call." She then turned and began heading back down the hall.

He nodded. After a few minutes, he sat on the bed. It didn't take him look to realize that in contrast to the rest of the room, he was dirty. Optus stood and went to shut the door.

She went to her room, and searched her shelves until she found her laptop. She then opened it up, and began typing away.
Lan came into the room, tail wagging. -
He then walked over to the bathroom and checked it out. He undressed and stepped into the shower, uncertain at first.

She didn't quite know what she was going to search up, so she just tried random things. Optis was one of those things, of course.

Once he figured out how the shower worked, only yelping quietly one from incredibly cold water, he began to clean up.

Lan's ears pricked at the sound of the running water, but Nina didn't notice. She was getting no results. Which didn't mean much, to be honest, but to her it was an affirmation of his claims.

It was relaxing, really. He found himself taking his time.

She sighed, closing it and putting her hands on her cheeks. Alright. She'd accept this, and see where it led too. After all, he had saved her life.

He found himself singing quietly, even though he'd never done so while bathing before.

Lan tilted his head, hearing the noise.
Nina lay back against the covers, sighing. She got up and went to her bathroom, changing into more comfortable, sleepable clothes. She then collapsed on her bed, staring over the edge at the floor. Lan licked her face affectionately. -
He eventually stepped out of the shower and grabbed a towel, drying off the wrapping it around his waist.

Eventually Nina dozed off, with Lan on the bed beside her.
