"All we have right now is poptarts. Oh, and Good Morning." She quickly added, not quite used to formalities in the morning.

He smiled faintly at her. "I don't know what those are."

The poptarts finished. Chocolate chip cookie dough. She quickly grabbed them and put them on a plate, taking them to the table.
"They're not that hot, try one." She smiled, taking one for herself. -
He sat down across from her and took one. When he bit into it, he wasn't expecting it to be as sweet as it was. "These are interesting. Not terrible, but... interesting."

"Interesting? Odd explanation." She giggled, then finished hers.
"So, I have to go to school soon, what do you plan on doing?" -
"I'm not sure, really. Is it socially acceptable that I go with you?" he asked, then took another bite of the pastry.

"Hm...I'm not quite sure how it all works." She sighed, thinking.

"If we find out that it isn't, I'll leave."

"Alright, then I suppose you can come." She nodded.

He smiled. "Thank you." He stood and went to get dressed.

She messed with her bracelet, fixing it so it was turned just right before turning and putting the plate in the sink.

He came back a few minutes later, his hair a bit more orderly. It felt natural to be wearing the hoodie and jeans again over the suit.

"Time to go, I suppose. Hope you don't mind, I walk." She said.

He shook his head. "I walk most places."

"Alright." She nodded, and grabbed her bag. She opened the door and walked out.
