He stood up again and went to grab a few magazines. When he came back, he sat beside her and opened the first magazine.
-
She got up and grabbed her book from behind a display and sat back down, reading silently.

He read through the magazines, already bored. It felt like he needed even more context than what was given. Eventually he nudged her a few times and asked for paper and a pencil.
-
"Hm? Oh, alright. Sorry." She added, And grabbed the items out of her bag. "Normally you could use the computers, but the server is down."
-
He shrugged. "I can do research later." He stood, walked around to the other side of the table, and sat down across from her. Then Optis reached over and took the supplies. Pencil in hand, he started to study the girl.
-
Nina blinked, then nodded "Alright." She went back to her book, oblivious.
-
He then started to draw, just as he said he enjoyed doing. He started with simple shapes, focusing on the curves of her face. He hadn't realized it before, but the smooth, half circles of her eyelids, and the softness of her lips, all framed by the gentle curve of her cheeks, were beautiful. He continued to replicate the masterpiece before him.
-
She glanced up a couple times, then finally it seemed to register. She raised an eyebrow at him, curious.
-
"No, go back to what you were doing," he muttered, covering the paper a bit.
-
"Fine, fine." She smiled, and went back to reading.
-
He smiled a bit, then erased just a bit of the mouth, making it appear to have more of a smile. He finished what he'd been working on, her hair, and set down the pencil. It was just a sketch, but it was still gorgeous. He stood up, leaving the paper exposed. "I'm going to find the bathroom."
-
"It's just down the hall, there's a sign." She said helpfully, curiosity peaking.
-
"Thanks." He walked out.
-
She examined the drawing, gasping. He was really good. She blushed, thinking of how he'd been staring at her that whole time..
