Grant yawned a bit. Ruseen was asked to dance with some other guy so she did for this song. So now he was slightly bored. He stood up and walked towards the door for fresh air. Then his eye caught something. He saw what's her face awfully close to him in a corner. "Russell?"

Russell looked at Grant somewhat desperately. Although he'd never EVER admit it to anyone, he wished Grant would come and talk to him. It would give him an excuse to get away from Mandy for a while.

He slightly tilted his head. It looked like he needed help. "Can we tal-" Ruseen wrapped her arms around one of his. "Grant, I'm done dancing with that other guy. Can we dance now?" She asked. Grant just looked at her, to Russell, then back to the girl. "Please?" She pleaded.

Russell shrugged slightly and gestured to Mandy, as if to say 'I get it. Not much you can do.' Mandy tugged him out to the dance floor and kept herself close to him, her ever-present smile even brighter than usual. Russell almost felt bad about using her like this, but none of that really mattered right now.

Grant was pulled out to the floor as well. While he danced with Ruseen he glanced at Russell and what's her name a few times. Not only jealously was kicking in, but so did more guilt.

Russell danced half-heatedly, but he was just going through the motions. It wasn't the same.

He wanted to say something. Atleast talk in private with Russell. Ruseen looked at what's her face. As if she felt terrible as well.

Mandy peered over at where Russell was watching Grant and Ruseen. Maybe he was jealous. She bit her lip, accidentally smudging her bright pink lipstick. "She's very pretty." Mandy offered wistfully. Russell's attention snapped back to her. "Wha- oh, I wasn't looking at her. Just thinking." -

Grant slow danced with her. Deep inside, somewhere. He wished it was Russell. He looked at him again. Ruseen looked up at him. "Grant?" He was somewhat zoned out. He came to when he heard his prom date. She looked in the direction Grant did a few seconds ago. Mandy looked gorgeous. "What a pretty girl.."

Mandy caught the girl's name and shot her a stunning smile. Mady was never one for subtlety, always bubbly and bold. Russell gently stepped away, his hand falling from its place on her hip. "I'll go get us some punch." He explained, ducking into the crowd.

Ruseen slightly blushed and looked a bit nervous, but smiled back. Grant looked at the two girls. This could be a good chance maybe? "Hey, I'm going to be riight back. Gonna, er, request a song." With that he moved away and followed Russell.

Russell stopped at the punch bowl and waited. With luck, Grant would follow.
Mandy hopped over to the other girl. "Hi!" -
He stopped right beside him. Honestly he wasn't sure of what to say now. He had to think about it before finally parting his lips. "Sorry."
Ruseen smiled at the girl. "H-hello..." As usually she sounded shy. But something felt slightly odd. It's like something was pulling at her heart strings.
