Russell smiled. "Me too." He blushed lightly. "I was an ass."
Mandy smiled widely, her eyes shining. "I'm Mandy. I saw you dancing and just had to come tell you how gorgeous your dress is!" -
"You sure were." His voice sounded a bit cold. But when he smiled you could tell he was kidding. "I was too.." He hated to admit it though. "I took it too far."
"Oh! T-thank you." She used her fingers to tuck her deep maroon hair behind her ear. "I'm Ruseen. Your dress is beautiful too." -
Russell smirked. "You hugged her. That counts as 'going too far'?" He laughed lightly, glad that Grant wasn't holding it against him too much.
Mandy glowed with happiness (not literally yet). "Thank you! I saw this color and just had to get it." She reached out and gently stroked a strand of Ruseen's hair. "Is it dyed?" -
He rolled his eyes. "I kissed her too. And you looked awfully jealous. Am I right or nah?" He crossed his arms and smirked too.
Ruseen nodded. "My hair is naturally black." Her eyes traveled directly to the other, tall girl's, hair. "Yours is so cute!" -
Russell scowled childishly. "I wasn't...okay. Fine. I was. But don't pretend you weren't!"
"Aw thanks!" Mandy giggled. "I think your hair'd look gorgeous black." She blushed slightly. "Not that it isn't beautiful now." -
"Aw, you really like me." He chuckled a bit. Then a slight blushed spread across his face. "Maybe a little jealous..."
"You really think so." She stroked through her own hair. She remembered being called things like "emo" or "goth" because of it. It surprised the girl that someone thought it would look gorgeous that way. -
"Just a little?" Russell teased. "But honestly, I did kinda miss you. Maybe. Just a little."
Mandy nodded. "Of course. I wouldn't lie to you." -
"Same. Just a tiny bit." He lied. Although he felt desperate to be by Russell again. "But, I feel like a b------ for using Ruseen." He looked off towards the crowd.
Her eyes glistened. Then she looked away, slightly embarrassed. "T-thank you so much.." -
Mandy bit her lip again. "It's nothing." She pulled the other girl into a tight hug.
Russell pointed to the two girls. "I think she'll get over it. Besides," He leaned forward. "You're mine, not hers, remember? So don't worry about anyone else." -
"..!" It was really sudden. She felt the warmth of the other girl and her face turned almost as red as her hair. Not to mention the strange warmth coming from her chest.
He watched the two of them. "Yeah I see what you me-" then Russell's words processed. When they did his blush burned deeper. He looked down. "Y-yes. I remember..." -
Russell nodded with a genuine smile. "Good."
Mandy held Ruseen tightly, despite her surprise. Glancing down, she could see that her chest was glowing brightly, a rosy pink glow. -
"J-just to be honest. I think it's unfair that a girl, one you don't even like, recited a kiss before I did."
She could see a color radiating from the other girl's chest. A shade of pink. Realizing what was happening, she looked down at her own chest. A light red was glowing from hers. -
"Ah, so you are jealous." Russell confirmed with a cocky smile. "What do you say we ditch this place, then I'll show you a real kiss." He wiggled his eyebrows playfully.
"Red," Mandy whispered. "It suits you." -
"Tch." He scoffed. Okay, yes. He was really jealous. He looked at Russell. "You sound like a huge perv, you know that?"
She hugged the girl back. Her soul mate. -
"What if I am?" He shrugged with a laugh. Grant was so easy to be around. He loved it. He loved him.
Mandy squeezed her once more before letting go, yet another smile dazzling her face. "Well..."
