Lexi loveheart NewbieShe took the boys hand. She smiled at him she looked at him "I'm Kayla." She said before something stupid came out.

"Tobi." He assisted her up from the ground. A small spark came from his hand, but he ignored it. He pulled his headphones down to his shoulders. "You look pretty young. Are you a freshmen?"

Lexi loveheart Newbie"Um yeah." She brushed a strand of hair out of her face. "Sadly." Now her eyes wandered a bit but always ended up in the same place, back at him.

"Ooh. Well then. Allow me to give ya a few pointers." He stood by her side and pointed to a group of cheerleaders. "Ooh. Be careful for those one. They're hot... Literally." One of the cheerleader's, a tanned blond one, burped. When she did fire erupted from her mouth and burned another cheerleader's hair. Tobi turned the girl to the side, showing her another clique. It was the jocks. "I may be one of those, but I'll tell you know that those are the ones that dicks to everyone. No matter the gender."
"Don't even get my started on some of the teachers. Be sure to stay on their good sides. Especially the coach." -
Lexi loveheart Newbie"Um... Thanks. But I have a question? How ruff will he be on me? Or does that depend on your power?" She asked quietly she wasn't even sure she heard him. She shifted away from him a bit. Her boots clunked on the floor by accident.

Sweat shined down Emily's head as she fiddled with the wiring behind the speaker. Red cord into red socket, yes; but where does the black cord go? Emily had no idea, which was odd considering her talent, but decided to guess at random. Standing up, Emily made her way back into the crowd, checking to see if anyone could point out her speaker.
There was still one left though. It needed to be loud, in the middle of everything, but in a way that couldn't be pinned on her. She needed...she needed...oh!
"If you're lucky you'll beg for death, if you're unlucky you'll find it. Anyway, stop being nervous and hold this speaker for me. I need to make sure I have plausible deniability." Emily said, shoving a small box of wires and mesh into Kayla's hand. -
Lexi loveheart NewbieKayla thought that the stupid box thing was a prank she could get in trouble for so she dropped the box and dug her heel into it. " Goodbye Emily" She decided she didn't need an answer. "Nice talking to you Tobi." At that she walked away with her boots making a light clip clop noise as she walked gym floor.

Emily let her mouth hang open for a second, before snapping it shut. People were starting to stare at her, and if she wanted this to work, she needed as few people to know what she was doing as possible. Bending down casually, to avoid having people think something had gone wrong, she picked up the speaker and held it to her chest. Twisting her shoulders, Emily faced Tobi, "Sup?"
"Alright, I have three...no four things to say. Firstly, hey, names Emily. We haven't offically met yet, you know, since you take hero courses and I don't." Emily said, thrusting her hand forward, "Secondly, she just dented my speaker. This speaker is reinforced with two metal sheets and a steel mesh. You want to hit that, be careful, because you don't want that foot between your legs. Thirdly, I'm ninety percent sure you should be in class right now instead of hanging out with juniors. Finally, hold this speaker for me while I finish setting up." -
Tobi had to process what she said for a moment. "I'm Tobi, Since it's the first day back, the principal has some announcements and we'll all be receiving our schedules. So we're all meeting in the gym. Plus, I'm an 11th grader, junior, as well. And sure." He held on to the small speaker.

Lexi loveheart NewbieKayla walked past some of her class mates to be she made sure not to brush anyone's shoulder which was easy. Kayla stood in front of a group of girls. She turned the other way. So she didn't see them. Really Kayla, she thought. the second person you meet at school, his friends are going to torture you forever or at least till they leave. Nobody else not one more for today, or every possibly, no more people. She looked back and saw Emily doing whatever she was doing. Kayla looked back in front of her. When will this start? Whatever is going on here.

devilsdaughter NewbieI hid behind a group of people. hoping he would not pick me. the last 5 people have been hero. then then tom went he got sidekick. then man pick what we are pick me as I walked up I had a flash back

"come on mom please can we go" I said. " ok go get in the car" she answered." thank you mommy love you" I said gave her a hug and ran in the car. she came in turned on the car we drove for a wile then we parked. i ran out "come on mom" i yelled back. she ran out. " oh be there in a min I forgot something in the car" she yelled back. she hopped in the car garbed some thing that looked like a neck lace. she suddenly look scared she through the necklace to me then the car blue up and I saw a super hero fly away. I ran grabbed the neck lace and it was the our mother daughter necklace. I started to cry.
back to the right time
I walked up the man said "what is your power"."i am a power Brower" I replied. I got sidekick. -
Lynne walked into the school. Then the nausea hit. It didn't cause her to throw up, but she definitely felt sick to her stomach. Lynne guessed it was homesickness, but she hadn't been here for more then 15 minutes. Still, it was a possibility.
Lynne continued to walk forward, despite her upset stomach. She knew that they were supposed to go to the gym. So she would figure out where the gym was. -
While holding on to the speaker he watched the freshmen take the test that decided their fate. Hero or SideKick. He remembered back to the time he took the test. Unlink some of the freshmen, he had full on confidence. That confidence and his power helped result in becoming a hero. "Fun times." The teen silently said to himself.
"Sidekick!" He announced. "Hero!" Was the next one. Tobi watched the amazing or, not amazing powers each student had. One was able to freeze things. Another could shrink. This one dude can even sprout wings! His friend stepped up. A kid he met a few days ago in the city. They talked a bit and he said he was going to this school, Tobi remembered. "Super Hero name?" The coach asked. "Dia-Mon!"The young boy said with ethusiasum.
"Okay Dia-mon. Show me what ya got!" The dark skinned freshmen stretched a bit before he demonstrated. He arched his back and sharp diamond shards sprang from his back. They covered his arms and looked like gauntlets before some more shards stuck from his knees. "Hm. Rocks!" With that being said a few rocks were thrown his way. When they were the sharps on his fingers shot and broke the rocks.
The coach smiled. "Que the boulder!" A giant boulder fell from the ceiling. The boy arched his back again and the boulder landed on the giant diamonds on his back. When they did the giant rock broke in to pieces.

Lexi loveheart NewbieKayla stood there staring at the coach pleading in her mind for him not to call her almost on cue he looked over at her "You," he pointed at her. Her eyes grew big. "Yes you skinny brunette." She would normally respond with a thankful smile but this was not a complement. She walked up towards him. And onto the stage. "Name? Power?"
"Kayla. Stretch." He smiled
"Go." She thought for a moment.
"Okay." She took her sweater off and put it on the ground. She walked over to the right side of the stage. You could here her boot on the wood from the silence in the gym. She put her boots at the very tip if the stage. She swayed her arms back and forth. Then pushed but leaned back into a bridge she saw her sweater on the ground by her face. "Hey coach." She said then kicked her feet up. They flung back to her original frame. She flipped up and faced the people. with her hands ready to fight in a fist. She released her tension in her hands then grabbed her sweater.
"Hun impressive but still sidekick. But maybe you can be bumped up to hero."
"Only one person has done that in history." Her voice sounded scratchy.
"Maybe you'll be seconded." She laughed.
"Yeah right." She said through the laughing. -
Tobi raised a hand to his mouth and shouted. "Woohoo! Good job Kayla!" He grinned.
