Kayla saw a robot in front of her when she turned around. She laughed nervously. "I don't suppose you what chocolate." She grabbed his arms and ripped them out not wasting time she chopped this one up with the arms quickly. Then through the arms at the other one that came at her. She saw what happened to Tobi out of the corner of her eye. When she was sure they were goners. She ran over to him. "Tobi, you okay? Tobi?"
-
He looked up at the high raised cieling. Blood slowly flowing out of his sliced flesh. He heared a voice. Kayla? Tobi turned his head to her. His hand slowly raised and he have her a thumbs up. Although his body was aching from the fall, his neck has a few bruises and choke marks on them, and his arm was cut. He put his arm down. "Had better days, Kayla. Better day."
-
"Oh my god. You're bleeding, do you want to go to the nurse? Are you okay? Oh my god that mite need stitches. Do you want help up? What do you want to do, more importantly what do you think you need to do." She whispered to him. She had to many questions, they just seemed more basic, and less odd... She looked at him. "And I would hope you've had better."
-
He waved his hand at her. "Calm down." Assuming she was probably frantic from all the questions she was asking. Tobi sat up and held on to his arm. The teacher ran over to him. "Hot dang! You two did a good job. You didn't die but you did get messed up. Haha!" "Haha. Very funny." Tobi responded. The teacher pulled Tobi's arm over his shoulder and lifted him up on to his feet. "Il bring you to the nurse." He assisted Tobi in walking but before they left through the door he spoke. "I'll be fine! See ya later!" Then they left.
-
The belle rang for them to start to head to the next class Kayla stood there she took off her boots and the suit she through it at the guy that came over to her. "Here." She tugged on her boots and zipped it up.
"You're pretty good know that. I grabbed your stuff 'cause I thought you'd want to leave right after this." He held out his arm which had her bag on it.
"Thanks, Bobby, right?" She took her stuff back and pulled on her hoodie.
"Yeah."
"Cool I guess I'll see you around, gotta head to my next class, Bye." She waved and ran out the room -
-
Tobi was escorted down the hall. The bell rang when they were half way there. When the students got out of class some stared at him and the teacher. Some even offered to help them. The teacher opened the door to what seems to be the nurse'a offices. "Oh my! What happened to you?!" She asked.
"Just fighting robots designed by Techno-bo-"
"They are really nice robots." The teacher interrupted.
The nurse rolled in her chair over to one of the hospital beds. "Sit down over here and I'll patch you up."
"It's not just that." The teacher pointed to the cut." The boy fell from 9 feet on to his back."
"Oh! Come lay down on your stomach."
"Alright." The teacher brought him to the bed where the teen laid down on. -
Kayla walked into her next class. The class had some people in it but not the whole class. One of the boys at the back of the room who was sitting on a desk with his friends yelled. "Hey look it's robo killer." When she walked in. His friend laughed but she just rolled her eyes and sat down in the left side of the class by the middle and waited.
-
The shadow of the door eclipsed Emily as she stood in front of it. Her emotions were no more settled than before, but now she was better at hiding it. A pained smile crossed her face, before she relaxed, and made it complete. With a deep breath, she pushed open the door to her next class. One of her favorites too. Advanced Punnery and Wisecracking.
"Oh boy, I am just loaded with puns today people. Are you feeling the beat yet? Lets go clubbing. Time for a drum solo." Emily said, walking into class.
The teacher stopped her immediately with a wave of his hand. "None of those are puns. Not a single one. And they're all terrible. Go take a seat, Emily."
Emily just smiled. "Aight then," she said, scanning for a place to sit. -
Kayla sat in the seat in the class. "Hey stretch, I was going to sit there." Said some guy standing beside her
"Hahahaha, Don't call me that."
"Move." Kayla stood up and faced him. She wasn't sure what she was going to do or why she was doing it she just wanted to.
"Why don't you make me." When she looked at him she realized how close he was. He rolled his eyes
"Whatever." She dug her heel into his foot.
"Have fun." She said flatly as she sat down. "Idiot." she mumbled as he walked away -
The eyes of the crowd were on Emily as she walked between the desks. Most of them were...a little pissed off, to say the least. But that was understandable. Not many people liked having their ears blown out.
Sliding into a seat next to Kayla, Emily smiled, "You're not great with people, are you, Kay?" -
Kayla laughed. "Not at all. Well it doesn't help I had to kill robots last class with Tobi. That was fun." She continued to draw on a sheet of paper. "And you know you didn't have to blow their eardrums out. But it was pretty funny."
-
"Man, I hate fighting robots. The only dance move they know is the robot, and they don't appreciate the work I put into my fighting act. Robots are pretty much my kryptonite. Animals, I can out dance that. People, I can out-dance that. Earthquake, I can out-dance that. But robots? Get out of town. Makes me glad that my rival is just a deaf girl instead of some machine guy." Emily said, bending down and taking out her books.
"Still, couldn't have been that bad. You didn't die or get knocked on your ass like me. Don't worry about the eardrum thing though. I would have done it even if you hadn't been called a sidekick. Do you know how hard it is to sneak five speakers into this school? I put too much effort into that prank to let the opportunity pass me by. Besides, pricks need to be knocked down a peg. Like they're better than us just because they were born lucky enough to turn to stone or win the lottery, right?" -
"Um sure... And not a scratch, almost lost some hair though, they breathed fire." She said still drawing. "Do you always do stuff like that?"
-
Emily chuckled, "Yea, lucky you didn't get one of the electric ones," and tapped her book with the tip of her pencil. "Does this pun make sense? Rate it for me, 1 out of 10. 'Looks like it's time to drop the ass!' See, cause it sounds like bass, the instrument."
She waited a moment, before rubbing the back of her head. Most of the people in the class had stopped staring at her, but she could still hear the whispers. It was fine though. She'd get them back on her side somehow.
"I usually try to avoid hurting people, but...yea. I'm kinda the trouble girl. Been to therapists all over the world, but I stopped listening to them since I figured out what the problem was. But..." Emily rubbed the back of her head, "Yea. I knock people down pegs. It's what I like doing. It's fun, you know?"
