"No I really don't," Kayla heard they guy behind her say to his friends.
"It hurts to walk on it stupid stretch girl." She chuckled.
"So I dug my heel into a guys foot, sew me." -
Emily smiled. "See, we're basically sisters. I've never had a sister though, so you're gonna have to walk me through it."
Staying silent for a moment, mostly to gather her thoughts, Emily tapped Kayla on the shoulder. "Alright, how about this one," she asked, "'Lets turn this fight up an octave!' Huh? Pretty good, right? What have you got?" -
Kayla stopped drawing for a minute and then thought for a moment. "Em, that didn't make any scenes." She looked down at the drawing. "I'm not sure about the full definition but wouldn't it make more scenes 'Lets tune this fight up an octave!' And I don't do puns." She kept drawing.

"No no, you're right. Turn doesn't make much sense. Not even a pun, now that I think about it. More of a wisecrack. But I've got this whole 'techno stripper' gig going on, so how...how about this, 'Let's pump this fight up an octave.' Like at a club? Where you 'pump' the music up louder?" Emily said.
Chuckling to herself, Emily threw her hands backwards in a stretch. The teacher was droning on about iambic pentameter or something, Emily didn't know. She was busy thinking of sick ass puns to say to her rival later that night.
Not your forte. That was pretty good, she should write that down.
Looks like you're stirring up some treble. Also good, write it down.
Hope my jokes aren't falling flat...put it in the maybe box. As in 'maybe I will totally use that one!'
Stopping for a moment, Emily simply stared as Kayla relieved that she didn't 'do' puns. "How can you not do puns? That's like...forty percent of being a sidekick. Plus you have the benefit of being allowed to make puns without people looking at you weird. Why would you not like puns? Hell, do you even have a superhero identity yet?" -
The teacher had to go back to his class room for his next vic- students.Tobi stayed in the nurse's office. She bandaged up the cut on his arm but couldn't do much about his back. So she neutralized the pain there. "You probably need to go
To a super hospital to do something about your back side, hun."
"Aaw what? I'd rather do that some time later! I'm not in my zone yet."
The nurse rolled her eyes. "Fine. Just be sure to go there later."
"Alrighty!" He said grabbing his jacket from the chair and putting it on. "Thanks nurse!" He said walking out of the office. -
"Emily pipe it down a bit." She said in a whisper. "And so what I just don't like puns that much, how can I put... Not my style." She looked down at the paper she drew all over when she was talking to Emily. She drew everyone that was in the class except the guys in the back. With her and Emily at the front of them with smiles on their faces and fist bumping. At the top of the page she sketched outSidekick invasion. She smiled. "Done." she mumbled to her self.
-
"I'm not hearing a yes..." Emily pointed out. "So what is your style then? Dark and brooding? Noble and bright? Stupid but lucky? Bad-ass? I mean, I've found my niche, but what are you looking to get out from a career in do-goodery?"
Looking back up, Emily was surprised to find the teacher finish his work. Was it already over? But she'd barely gotten through even half her puns! I didn't mean to de-bass you! I think you've got your G-string on tight! Give it a rest, retard! So many good puns, so many missed opportunities. Glancing around the class, Emily eventually settled back on Kayla, and her drawing.
"Aw yis, that's what I'm talking about. Sisters for life, yo." Emily said, grabbing her bag. "Hey, what have you got next?" -
Kayla looked at Emily, then the clock. "Em, it's lunch." She grabbed her notebook that was on the table then stood up. "Or do you not eat?"
-
3rd period. Alrighty. He missed his second period superhero class but atleast this period was another one. Tobi walked through the hall in a stiff manner and stopped in front of the door to his next class. Hero Scenerios. The class on how to handle certain situations in a simple way. But the teacher wasn't there yet and te door was locked. Him and one of his jock friends stood there waiting in the hall. Not students showed up but not a teacher.

The ticking hands on Emily's watch tried to deceive her as she stared down into them, and gradually back to the clock on the wall. "Oh," was all she said. A quick stutter, and Emily was back to her old self, "Right, right, of course I eat. Everyone eats. Except for that kid who's superpower is not eating. He, understandably, doesn't eat. So anyway, yea..."

PFF I was late on that. Disregard that post above))
Tobi walked down the hall to the lunchroom in a stiff manner. He sighed and leaned against the doorway before entering. His friend from earlier slapped him on the back. Tobi almost jumped. "Sup man?" Thomas smiled.
"Dude! Don't do that!" He shouted.
"Calm down. Still hurtin from that Tobi attack earlier?"
"You heard about that? Yeah. A little."
"Like, a lot of peeps heard about it. They said you and that chick did a pretty legit job." -
"Good lets go." Kayla walked out of the class. "Oh where am I going, Em?"
(I'm going out soon so I'll take a bit and I'll be on my other account.(wolf112)) -
(Hi.(Sorry I'm so bored and this book just had a terrible ending.)

"Aw right, I guess you don't have many friends yet. Since you're new and everything. Come on, I'll introduce you to my friends, they're the 'cool' kids so to say. I warn you though, they can get a little...out of control." Emily said, throwing her bag over her back.
Glancing behind herself to make sure that Kayla was following her, Emily skipped down the halls. So much to do, so little time. Well, that's not true. Honestly, Emily had very little to do outside think of more puns for her rival. Maybe she should pay her a visit? It was always fun to rub her success in someone's face.
Shaking her head, Emily decided against it as she wandered out into the courtyard. Her friends were sitting in the same place they always sat: under one of the large trees so close to the edge you could see the roots poking out. Motioning for Kayla to follow her, Emily walked closer.
