"Why would you help me? Because you're a hero, Kayla! You have an incredible gift, one that very few people will ever unlock their full potential with. And it's your duty, NAY, your privilege to help those weaker then yourself." Emily said, adjusting her glasses, "I mean, look at myself. You want to know what I do? I dance. That's my superpower. I know about three dances, and I do them super well, and now I'm studying for a cert 3 in side-kicking. And side splitting, but that's because I like making people laugh. And I'm sitting here, pouring my heart out for assistance, and you're going to say no? Even if you could help better than anyone else? That's cold, Kayla. Real cold. I thought we were friends."

Lexi loveheart NewbieKayla shifted under the girls words. "First of all I've known you for ten minutes. And second what would I be doing? I'm not in I just want to scale out how much trouble I could get into." She looked at the girl.

Nodding heavily, Emily grinned, "Right, ten whole minutes. We're practically family. Hell, I even know your favorite colour. Black. Though technically that's a hue, isn't that interesting?"
Her signature smile lit up her face again as she scooted closer to Kayla, her bag brushing up against her thigh as she did, "Alright, let me go back to the beginning. Three years ago, I was like you. I was new to this school, I didn't know anyone and I had absolutely no idea how dancing of all things qualified me to be a superhero. And during this time, I had a friend. Now, he's not her anymore, and that's where you come in."
Taking a breath, Emily continued, "Two terms into my first year, I accidentally threw my Frisbee onto the roof of the gym. It was the biggest loss I've ever suffered in my entire life, even more than good ol mom. But now, now, you can help reunite my family. All we need to do is head down to the gym, you stretch up and get my Frisbee, and then I'll do whatever you want, no questions asked, once. Sounds like a good deal, yes?" -
After the next students were picked up, two of who were Tobi's friends, who walked to the back and sat with or next to him. "Sup man? Ready for the school year?" The white haired teen asked his buddy. "Not even.. I'd rather get turnt up all day everyday like I did in the summer." Tobi laughed a bit and the three engaged in relatively loud conversation.
"Well, kids!" The bus driver announced. "Time for another year at Sky High!" Most students on the bus quieted down. "Hence the /SKY/!" There was suddenyly a loud clinking noise. Wings glared out from the side of the bus and jet turbines emerged from the back of the bus. The bus sped up and started flying in the air. It operated as if it was an airplane, well because it basically was one. "Woo!" -
devilsdaughter Newbiemy alarm started going off. I picked it up and through it out my window and got up got dressed and went to wake my brother up. "oh no"i screamed " I late. then I ran down to my neighbors house and asked if he could give me a lift. he gladly agreed and pick me up and he flew me to school." thanks" I said then he flew off. i ran inside to make it to class.

Tobi simply sat back in his seat, holding on to the handle with a strong grip.

Lexi loveheart NewbieKayla sat in her seat. The flying didn't bother her much but it seamed to others. She smiled lightly and laughed remembering what the girl said. " Ha you're kidding me right? That be to easy it's a prank on me isn't it? It wont work. Unless you can convince me other wise, please don't bug me again. And scene I know people like that," She didn't fell comfortable saying 'like you'. " you wont bother. Have a nice year, Emily, I'll see you around." When she finished she realized what had happened, what she said, it had tacked years for some people to get to that point with her but it took her 10 minutes. You're a special one Emily, She thought. I wonder if you'll try keep trying with me? Kayla hood the concern in her mind which was probably on her face by hiding in her hood.

The bus lurched as it pulled to a stop, landing back on solid ground. From around her, students tiredly pulled themselves to their feet and funneled down the hall; seemingly unaffected by the fact that they just flew through the air like god damn Superman. Shooting a grin at Kayla, Emily grabbed her bag and stood up. "Hey, just give it some thought, alright? I'm completely serious here, about everything. The danger, the Frisbee, everything. It would really mean a lot to me if you could help me out. After all, can't be a hero if you don't help out us sidekicks."
Following the crowd, Emily leapt off the bus, pausing for a moment as her thoughts caught up to her. It was probably the other way around now that she thought about it. Sidekicks needed to help heroes. Ah well, live and learn.
Her schedule told her that she needed to go practice self defense first, but man, screw self defense. It was the first day, Emily wanted to have some fun; not get punched in the face by a three hundred pound rock monster.
With a whistle and a skip, Emily made her way to the gym, slipping in and hiding near the back. The new kids were always good fun to watch on the first day. -
"Damn! I missed riding that thing!" Tobi said cheerfully while walking off the bus. He looked around. Some of the students were green in the face from the ride. Heh, they must be new here. The teen walked in to the school, through the hall, and in to the gym that seemed relatively crowded. It was also pretty damn loud. No surprise this place had a bunch of acoustic with how big it is.
He shrugged the bag off his shoulder a he walked to the benches, promptly taking a seat. -
Lexi loveheart NewbieKayla got up and left the bus and started to walk to the gym. Oh please don't make us change into our other outfits. Oh please, not on the first day. Kayla hated her super hero outfit but it was something that stretched with her so it worked. She walked into the gym and saw a bunch of other kids her age. She sighed. "More people to blend into." She said to herself. Kayla walked and tripped over someone in the gym she fell to the ground.

Lynne smiled, "I'm Lynne," she replied. Lynne held on as the plane lifted off the ground. You didn't experience this type of thing everyday. She relaxed a bit in her seat. Then, as the bus landed, Lynne lost her sense of relaxation. She walked out of the bus. Her legs were a bit wobbly, but she managed. Lynne noticed some other first years getting sick. Lynne was thankful that she felt fine.

Tobi saw the girl fall, as well as... Most of the students there. He quickly walked over to her and held out a hand. "Are all the pretty girls falling for my good looks today? Damn I'm feelin' lucky."

Emily leaned against the back wall, smiling as the first years started to funnel in. Many bright faces, many new powers, so little time. Reaching into her bag, Emily pulled out a small set of speakers; placing one at her feet. She stared at it for a second, before moving on.
She had three more of the damn things, and she had to make sure they were all placed before the class started.
