He snapped his teeth and unlocked the door, throwing it open."Stay away from them!" The smaller ran after him with claws unsheathed.

Also he doesn't have to bend over I'm sorry I was imagining a tiny car I forgot the SUV thing also I'm not focused on this
He pulled a stake from said pocket and turned, prepared to defend himself. -
Zander growled as instinct took over and imidately went for the nearest weak spot.

He definitely wasn't prepared, but regained most of his ability quickly.

His eyes never lost their animalistic glare as he stood firmly, teeth exposed and ready to bite if the man got too close.

"If you come inside with me, I won't kill her." The man didn't lower his weapon.

"I don't trust you enough to follow you. People like you go about killing us, even those of us who cause no harm. So no way in hell would I trust a monster like you!"

"If you follow me, you have a chance of protecting Anna. She obviously means something to you. Do you want to protect her or not?" he asked.

He balled his hands into fists. "Of course I do.." The bloodsucker slowly and cautiously followed him into the house.

He led the vampire inside, then called for Anna and his own daughter. Anna was the first to find her way downstairs, still in a good mood from spending time with her cousin. When she saw the two men waiting downstairs, she went pale. Her cousin joined her after a few seconds, then noticed the vampire as well.

He stood there, as still as he was earlier, but also alert in case the man went back on his word about harming Anna.

"Do you want to tell me about this?" he asked, kicking the vampire a bit. After a moment, Anna spoke.
"He came to me a few nights ago, asking about a brother, saying that I'd kidnapped him. I, of course, wasn't the one to kidnap him, but I knew what he was referring to. I figured that if I tricked the vampire into joining me, the two of us could go on a hunt together. You can take that one, I'll go after the one you caught for me." -
Zander hissed when he was kicked, but froze when he heard what she had to say. His eyes widened and his guard dropped as he stared at Anna in complete disbelief. "What...? It was all a game? Even that time..."

She looked at the vampire emotionlessly. "You thought I cared about you?" Anna then returned her gaze to her uncle. "I'm not sure where you're going to lock him up, but you should, so I can go get my things and unpack." Her cousin, who had been watching the entire time, followed silently and nervously as Anna walked away.

The blonde was in shock as she left the room. After a long silence, he spoke softly. "Where is Kayle..? If you're starving him...then won't last much longer without a little blood.."
