YOU SHOULD'VE RESPONDED WITH "I never intended to. *rolls eyes*"
She nodded, then caught his lips before he sat back. -
The blonde smiled at her and anxiously waited for his time.
-
She knocked on the door, and was greeted by a slightly taller, almost-clone of herself. She hugged the other woman and walked inside with her.
-
Zander peeked at the clock every so often to see how the time changed. It felt like an eternity and he feared the worst would happen.
-
However, it appeared that she'd seen the male in the car, and warned her uncle. Anna was oblivious. The man made his way outside, acting as if he didn't notice the vampire.
-
His ears perked at light footsteps, and he slowly slinked down to try to hide himself, unaware that he'd already been seen. His teeth clenched together nervously.
-
Anna was busy inside with her cousin, catching up on, well, everything.
The hunter eventually walked past the car, then stopped, knocking on the window. -
Zander didn't respond, and he was glad he didn't need to breathe, so he was as still as stone.
-
"I know what you are." He called, his face close to the glass. The condensation caused by his breath loping erred for a moment, reflecting the light coming from the house, before it evaporated completely.
-
He tsk'd and remained silent as he glared up at the window. Even if he knew, he wasn't idiot enough to just unlock and open the door for him.
-
"And I know this is her car. Why are you with my niece? You look a lot like the other one, who happens to be starving in my basement."
-
He growled and peeked up a bit. "She doesn't want to be you...You will release my brother, or die." He hissed.
-
"And she told you this? I suppose, if that's true, it'll make it easier for me to kill her. Which I'll do, if you don't unlock this door." He tapped on the window. Anna's uncle was a large man, not from weight, but muscle. His head was entirely shaved, but his beard shared the ginger color her hair held. His hands were covered in bruises and cuts and scars, but not in a way that appeared to keep him from his work. He was tall enough that he had to bend over a bit to peer through the window to the young undead.
-
"You won't lay a single saquatch hand on her..!" The blonde bared his teeth as he glared through the glass. "I'll chew a hole through your chest if you do!"
-
He smirked. "Open the door, vampire, or she's dead. And then I'll hunt your brother on my own, though he'll probably only last a few more days. You know, he was certain you'd come for him." He turned and started walking away from the car, one hand in a coat pocket.
