Mason nodded. "Sure," he yawned, circling around until finally settling down into a curled ball. Purring slightly, he finally drifted off.
-
Shake looked to Crade, who sneered. "Foolish girl. All who oppose us are slaves. You have attempted to steal our food." Kuroa stepped forward. "But," she said quietly, ignoring the incredulous stare from Crade. "I see power in you. Perhaps you can redeem yourself and join us." Crade thought for a moment, then smiled. "Actually, that is a fine idea." Zhale smiled. "That sounds like a good idea. We can always use more Shadows." (shadows are training to be Shades. :3) Shira's eyes narrowed. How could that puma want to be a Shade?!
-
Awesome!)
Continuing to grimace at the Shades, she confidentially agreed.
A nearby screech alarmed Mason, suddenly awaking him. He scanned the area, soon noticing his position... Fran had nuzzled up to him in her sleep, and their tails were wrapped around each other. Embarrassed, Mason slowly pulled away from her, but still not waking the she-puma up. -
Thanks!)
Kuroa smiled at Kala. "Then it's settled. What is your name?" -
"Kala," the dark puma answered boldly. She winked at him.
-
Kuroa is the girl. XD)
Kuroa smiled, shaking her pale blue fur. "I think we can trust Zhale to train you." Crade said, looking sharply and his red and black companion. Zhale nodded. "Of course." Crade and Kuroa began to pad away. "Bring her back to the base when you're done." Zhale nodded. "Well, Kala, you're officially a shadow." -
I think I am about to shoot myself or something. How many mistakes have I made today?!! Geez, Angel... get it together...)
Forget that post.)
"Kala," the dark puma answered boldly. She smiled at her. -
That's okay, I make mistakes like that all the time. XD)
Zhale stood up. "I'll start by showing you how things work. First on our little tour is the nursery." He told Kala, walking towards a small opening in the canyon wall. -
Kala followed Zhale into the network of dark caves, lit up by the cave jewels. Kala was secretly impressed, but didn't show it. She only grunted as they passed each room.
-
Entering a side cave, he slipped through another opening. "Here's the future Shades." He said. Many she-pumas raced around, trying to control tons of cubs who bounded around.
-
Kala chuckled to herself. She couldn't hold it in; the frantic mother pumas racing around after their disobedient children was hilarious.
-
Zhale laughed as well. "Our mothering pumas watch over the cubs. They're stolen from Skilight, so they're strong and healthy. You know it's hard for Midnight cubs to survive." He padded out. "Wanna go hunt?"
-
"Indeed," agreed Kala, striding out with Zhale.
-
He looked down. "I found that out when my nephew died." He said. "But that was long go, it doesn't matter." He jumped onto a platform.
-
Suddenly Kala twitched. Her dark soul seemed to diminish, and she said two words that she never thought she'd say again...
"I'm sorry."
