Shira opened her eyes and rolled towards him. "There's a stream right outside to wash your pelt." She said quietly.

He rose to his paws and silently walked outside. Laying down in the cold water he rolled slightly to his whole pelt clean. Puma were slowly making there way back into caves and dens. A few looked at him with confused, horror, or glad or pity looks. He ignored all of them an headed back to her den. Licking his pelt so it dried quicker. He laid down next to her and laid his head down on her back. Closing his eyes he was able to fall asleep comforted by her scent and her being next to him.

Shira snuggled closer, inhaling his comforting scent. "I'm glad you're here." She murmured. The black puma smiled slightly.

He sighed softly and finally went to sleep. His large body curled into her tiny, smaller one. Red and black mixed together. He relaxe against her and let himself be completely against her.

Shira sighed contentedly and slowly drifted off into sleep. She was finally sleeping without worrying about Crade.

X woke up early the next morning and gazed down at Shira. He didn't want to face the pumas today. He didn't want to leave the she-pumas side anytime soon. Laying there he eyed her, his eyes soft and kind.

Shira shifted slightly, and her eyes peeled open to meet kind yellow ones. "Good morning, X..."

"Good morning Shira." He said softly, nuzzling her neck. He purred softly for. Moment before lifting his head an gazing down at the entrence to the cave. His eyes looked worried "What do we do now?" He asked softly nipping her ear.

Oh, that's what I meant. I know it seems Kala was talking about Crade... she meant X. And now she is jealous of Shira.

I know, I said I don't think Kala and X have ever met. But nevermind, that's fine!)
She sighed, embracing the warm feel of their fur brushing together. "I'm not sure..." -
X rose to his paws and had a warrior battle face on now. "It's time to find out." He paused to look back at her and then headed out of the den leaving behind his warm feelings, it was time for him to show up now. He walked a few paces before stopping and looking up ontop of a tall cliff that over looked the whole valley. Leaping ontop of it he peered around as other pumas began moving and waking up. His whole body was hurting and sore but his face didn't show it. Taking a deep breath he let out one single loud yowl that bounced off the walls of the gulley and bounced to the other pumas ears. "I call upon all pumas of the Midnighters! To meet here under this High Crevis!" Pumas slowly began to leak out of dens and caves and started to towards him from both sides.

...?!! I thought they met when Kala joined the Shades.)
Kala stared at Zhale, then the mysterious figure arisen before her. She felt afraid and confused. "Wh-What do you w-want with me??" she demanded hoarsely to the stranger.
Ezmere's fanged grin practically glowed in the dark. It frightened Kala, but for some reason she seemed this puma could help her... but with what? -
No, X was never a Shade, he's a loner. When Kala joined she met Crade, Kuroa, and Zhale.)
Shira leapt after him, and stood supportively behind the huge red puma.
Zhale growled and stepped in front of Kala. "Leave her alone." -
He let out a long breath. "Look, I understand that you have no reason to trust me. You saw me kill Crade and... Maybe some of you didn't want him gone. But I did, he wa holding us in the dark and making us steal cubs. He's killed more then I have. But the point is.. We need a new, true leader. We need to be the Midnighters again! Not split into the shades. Maybe it won't be me, but we need someone to truly lead us from the dark." He raised his voice so they all could hear them. They had hope in there eyes.

Kuroa stood up and shouted, "Why shouldn't it be you? You are a savior to many," She looked around. "And a hero to many more." Shira nodded her approval as well.
