Your question is misleading and can be interpreted different ways.
To the person reading it, it sounds like "What do you think is the probability there is a god?" but to the person asking it, your question will be interpreted, "how much do you believe in a god?"
As I've said, I do not believe in a theistic God. There is no reason to believe in one, so I do not. I am compelled by logic and reasoning to not believe. For me to make a choice on whether I believe, I must first be given a clear choice. But since religion itself is emotion and interpretation, no clear choice was given, therefor preventing me from making a choice.
There is no God.
I say this because there is nothing to point to the contrary. -
Let me make myself clear, how much do you believe that a god or a higher power has created this world and/or is controlling it?
-
Viktor: Bob has already answered your question in the most precise and logical way he could, if you can't understand it you are maybe simply choosing not to do so.
He has clearly stated that he does not believe in a god, theistic, higher or controlling power above us. He does not believe in a god because there is no reason to believe in one, considering most there is to religion is the theist's own interpretation and feeling toward it.
In other words there is not sufficient enough evidence to make Bob believe in a higher power, for evidence does not consist of emotion, which explains religion all too well. -
I know this.I'm trying to make a conclusion by my questions.
-
And we're telling you that your question is ill-placed and mislead.
-
So an agnostic atheist that equally thinks there could be a god is the same as an agnostic atheist who barely ever thinks there's a god?
-
Agnostic Athiest doesn't think there is a god.
All agnostic means is that you don't know everything.
An agnostic atheist is someone who admits that they don't know everything, but with the current information, they do not believe in a God. -
Then I'm an agnostic atheist who likes to believe there is a god,but can't.
-
And on the other hand I admit I don't have enough information to say there's no god.
-
so you're indecisive.
-
Told ya,I don't wanna make a wrong decision.
-
It doesn't have to be wrong. Why are you afraid of making a wrong decision? Because if god does exist, you'll end up in hell or something? But, don't you care about how you feel now? What you believe in? Surely you have an opinion on this, everyone does, it's what makes us human.
For example I do not believe in a theistic god, but I cannot disprove that one might exist, so I am an Agnostic Atheist.
When it comes down to it, it's all about what you believe in, not what the 'correct' thing is. -
It's not about hell or anything.I just don't wanna judge something when I don't know enough about it.
I as well don't believe in a theist god. -
Bob,you said with the current information you believe there's no god. What are those information that prove there's not one?
