People need to stop assuming that all terrorists have mental problems. Look at Breivik, he wasn't a schizno or anything and was smart enough to plan out a terrorist attack for years.

I agree with The Geek to a certain point; all terrorists don't have mental problems. That is a sick assumption, not that it matter really, because it's terrorists we're talking about.

It matters immensely. If you can stop the reason why people would become terrorists you can prevent more people from becoming one.

Like I said earlier, only did some research on Islam. Only know a few of their laws and such.
I'm not talking about people acting normal. I'm talking about a literal psych evaluation. You can hide stability in day to day life, but you really can't with a psych evaluation.
But there is no real reason why people become terrorists, either. It's either they're mentally sensitive (as in this case, the shooter was a time bomb for this behavior. Something set him off), hatred (from personal experience, maybe? I've heard the shooter himself is gay), or some other insane reason.
And just because someone has mental issues doesn't mean they can't be extremely intelligent. Of course, for example, the Joker is a fictional character, but he was very intelligent in the way he could manipulate others and such. -
