"You need to eat something."

"Not hungry." He pulled the car forward.

"Fine." I shook my head a little and rolled my eyes.

"If it'll make you feel any better, I'll eat at lunch." He paid and drove to the next window, getting the food and his coffee.

"Okay." I took the food from him and began eating.

He took a sip of the coffee and set the paper cup on top of the ripped up card in the cup holder.

I kept on eating. I hadn't realized how hungry I was.

"Someone's hungry..." He smiled at her, then looked back at the road. He pulled out of the drive-through and onto the road.

"Yeah, almost dying from a nut allergy does that to you, I guess." I smiled.

He laughed a bit.

I chuckled and succeeded in not choking on my food.

He continued to drive.

I continued eating. "You think we should find somewhere to sleep other than this car?"

"That'd probably be a good idea. It also might be a good idea to stop driving around the country soon. For our sanity, I mean." He took another sip of the coffee.

"Yeah, I was getting tired of looking at the scenery." I kept eating.
