"It's worth taking cautions for..." he muttered, still driving. He didn't go over the speed limit just yet. He glanced at the rear view mirrors every thirty seconds or so, watching the cop car.

I leaned down in my seat a bit and rested my head against the window. I was worried of what would happen. Suddenly I heard the cops voice say, "Ease pull over your vehicle." I started panicking a bit.

He stayed at the same speed. If they pulled them over, he'd act oblivious. After all, they knew him as a redhead with brown eyes. Definitely not this. He pulled the wallet out of his back pocket and tossed it to Nataly. "Can you get out the driver's license that belongs to 'Percy Compton'?"

"Uh, sure." I searched through all the fake I.D.'s until I found Percy Compton. "We should pull over. I mean, so we aren't suspicious."

He nodded, pulling the car over to the shoulder of the highway.

My heart was beating fast but I took deep breaths to calm down. The cop walked over to the car and knocked on the closed window.

Mark rolled the window down. "Something wrong, Officer?"

The officr leaned down and examined our faces. I couldn't see his eyes behind his dark sunglasses and that disturbed me. "As you might know, a young girl by the name of Nataly Towers was kidnapped from a mall on her birthday."

Mark sat there for a moment, appearing to be thinking. "Yeah... I saw something about that on the news... I didn't know her name though." Which was true. He didn't know her last name was Towers. Generic name. Perfect.

The cop looked at me. "I saw something about it in the news and read an article in the newspaper. I hope they find her." My voice sounded calm and sincere.

"So, what did you need?" Mark look up at the cop. So far, there'd been nothing to make the cop think Nat was Nataly Towers.
