I snuggled closer to him.

He grinned. "Good morning."

I looked up at him. "Good morning," I said and kissed his cheek.

"You sleep well?

"Yep, did you?"

"Great."

"Good." I smiled at him.

He sat there for a while, then slowly frowned. "You shouldn't."

"I shouldn't what?" I was confused.

"Love me," he muttered.

"Why? Because you're a wanted criminal? Because I'm your hostage?"

"Both." He sighed. "And the fact that if you die, it'll probably be my fault."

"But you aren't gonna kill me, right?" I didn't want him to kill me. I wanted to stay with him.

"No, I'm not." He looked out the window.
