"So, small town or big city?" he asked.

"Small town, duh." It would be easier to get caught in a big city.

"Okay... got anywhere in mind?"

"Hm, how about...Peterstown?" I had seen it on the news once. It was a quaint little town located in Maine.

"Sure." He nodded. "Where is it?"

"Maine." I know what state we were in now, but I lived in Vermont, so...

"Gotcha." He glanced back at the road.

I nodded once. "Hey, you wanna listen to one of those CDs I got you?"

"Sure." He grabbed one, opened it, and played it. He knew most of the songs on the album.

I found myself liking the music more and more with each song. "What band is this, again?"

He told her the band.

"Cool." I kept listening to the music. It had a freeness in it that you just couldn't get with Classical.

He drove along.

I nodded my head to the beat of the bass, slightly.

Nataly seemed to be liking the music. A faint smile grew across Mark's face.
