I slipped the old contacts out and the new ones in.

He watched her. She'd taken something out of her eyes... what was the word? Contacts? Before she'd put new ones in, he'd seen her eyes. They were... different.

"What are you staring at? I have...er...vision problems. Haven't you ever seen someone like that?"
I needed to get away from him, he'd try to figure it out. -
"Vision problems? That's weird..." he muttered, staring at her.
