"Yeah.." She replied, going on with the lie.

He stood there, waiting for her to get up.

She got up, and exited the door. "It was great.. helping you, Jay. See you.." She shouted, and closed the door. She started to cry, quickly walking away.

He watched her leave. Great. Now he was alone with his dad.

She walked the streets, sobbing. She went into the house she started out with.. and slammed the door. She went up into the room, and laid on the bed.

His father looked at him. "You need help with homework? I thought you were getting all A's."
"We just started something new in class and I didn't really understand." Jay shrugged. -
Rain soon cried herself to sleep.

Finally, after an hour or so, Jay's dad stopped talking to him and asking questions. He escaped the house, remembering the way to Rain's house.

She slept peacefully, clearing her mind from everything.

He stood on the patio, at the door, about to knock.

She woke up, a breeze hit her. She looked out the window, and sighed angrily.

Finally working up the courage, he knocked on the door.

She flew down the stairs with her wings, hoping he couldn't see her, and reached the door. She opened it fiercely. "What?" She asked bitterly.

"Look, I'm sorry my dad came. I didn't know..." He looked down.

She sighed. "Its okay..." She bit her lip and lightly hugged him. "I'm sorry I was bitter."
