She smiled, looking down. "Thank you.." She tried not to sound worried.

She looked up again and smiled. "I try to.."

He laughed a bit.

She looked around. "So yeah. This is my place. Well, was until I moved in with you."

"It's still yours, isn't it?" he asked.

"Kind of.."

"What do you mean, kind of?" He looked over at her, confused.

"My grandma gave it to me, she pays the bills. But then you said I could move in with you.. and then your dad came... so I'll probably be staying here for a day or two.. until he's gone."

"Oh." He frowned a bit. So, you ran away, but you still know your grandmother, and she hasn't told your parents where you were? I can't say I think you're lying, but...

"Yeah..." I'm such a bad liar.. This is why it sucks to be God's angel xP

"Even though you ran away from your family?" As soon as he said the words, he regretted them.

She bit her lip. I can't tell the truth... I can't... But like that, her wings came into a humans view.
