She nodded, but then shook her head. "Sometimes, when you friend someone, they show to only the friend." More like crush, she thought.

"Hm. Interesting." I should probably leave soon...

"Yeah..." She put her wings out of sight.

He looked confused for a second. Her wings had disappeared.

"What?" Rain bit her lip, studying his expression. "Oh! I put them back onto my back." She turned around, showing her now curled up wings.

He nodded and looked at the clock once more. "I should probably go..."

"Oh. Okay. I'll see you tomorrow... right?" She whispered the last part sadly.

He nodded. "Of course."

Her mood lightened up a bit. "Okay." She gave a bit of a smile. "Bye..."

"Goodnight, Rain." He turned to leave.

She bit her lip sadly. "Goodnight.." she said weakly. -
He stopped.
