Rain lifted her head. "We could go do something like walked through the park or get a bite to eat..."

He nodded. "Yeah, that'd be great-" He stopped, hearing the front door open.

She lifted her head anxiously.

He frowned. "Er, I'll be right back..." He stood up, hurrying out of the living room.

His father stood in the doorway. He stared at him. "Uh..."
