Woo lemme tell you about my time!
You didn't need papers to get INTO Mexico, let's start with that. So I find that rather.. Uhm.. Stupid, no? What if an American doesn't have papers, what the hell are they doing in our country? >:{D Lol but no seriously, dude.
The entrance to Mexico looks so beautiful. (Well to me, since I'm a Mexican and all and I miss my country. >.>) The flag is there and it's just waving in the wind to greet you and all. :D And when you first step into Tijuana, there are men greeting you and asking you if you want to go on a taxi. xD It's a frenzy.
And there are no street lights in Tijuana. .-. There weren't any in Atotonilco, but you'd expect Tijuana to have some because it's a huge city.. But the drivers in that part were.. Okay.
Once you get to kinda downtownish of Tijuana, dammit there are some terrible drivers there. We almost got run over twice. TWICE.
I also happen to notice that the Seven Eleven sells tacos and not hot dogs. x'D
Anyway, then we went to the bank and shiz, we went around more, I swear a lot of people were just greeting us. Such friendly people.
But what bothered me was all the poor hobos there and.. I've never been in Tijuana so this was a little of a shock to me. Just a little. In Durango, there were hardly any hobos and s---, but I guess Tijuana must have been hit hard by the Drug Wars. :/
Anyway, uhm, so when we got on the taxi to go back, the taxi driver actually greeted us. I've taken a few taxis here in America and if you even think of saying hi, they'll report you for harassment. That guy was talkative compared the people in America.
Uhm, so anyway, when we had to go through border control thing, I didn't really feel like coming back here but I obviously had to, so we did. And you know, going into that building had to be the worst thing ever. They stare at you with that obvious "Uhg, Mexicans" look and it just.. Makes me mad dude.
Either way, it was cool. I'm just so fascinated because I never really got to go to Tijuana. -
That sounds real cool~ :D Have fun?
-
That's awesome. :D I wanna go.
Ugh, I hate when Americans are rude for no reason. >.> -
@Ozzy Yep yep. :D Fun fun fun.
@Ana I'll take you one day~ It's only around 2 hours from here in LA. .3.
Yeah, no need to be rude people..
Zomg I forgot to mention stuffs.
1. A lot of Asians there.
2. Everyone is skinny and short. .-.
3. So many Italian businesses I swear..
4. There are bees all over the candy they sell. x'D
5. The men are always willing to talk to you randomly. -
Sounds awesome. I'd wanna go but I can't speak, let alone understand anything in Spanish whatsoever. Dx
-
Come on, Mexicans know English you know. We're not that stupid. xD
-
I know. I'd just feel stupid not being able to speak Spanish if I went to Mexico. Just like I'd feel stupid going to Sweden and not being able to speak Swedish.
-
xD It doesn't matter. I came here not knowing English, you know. You're more welcomed there than here~
