"He's a very brave little fella, that's for sure," Maddy laughed as they approached her locker. She grabbed her bags and shut it.

"Heheh yup." He smiled and grabbed his backpack. "Yours was very pretty, almost as much as you." -
:P ish okie.
Maddy blushed and smiled. "There you go with the compliments again..." she hugged him and smiled bigger. "You're so sweet." -

He hugged her back. "Thank you, Sweetie."

Maddy smiled and held Akira's hand. "Ready to go?" she asked.

"You're welcome." -
"Yup, lead the way." He smiled and held her hand.

Maddy led Akira through the doors of the school and then stopped. "Woods or main road... your choice," she said.

"Woods," he said, noticing the weather was quite nice and sunny.

"Woods it is," Maddy said smiling. They walked on the small path by the stream, listening to the birds chirp and the light breeze rustle the bright green leaves. (this provides such a good visual right now for me... seeing as i still hear birds xD)

Akira was genuinely happy, and couldn't help smiling brightly. -
They lept across the stones in the stream. Maddy smiled back at Akira. She knew the effect of the woods was magical. They approached her front door; she reached under the WELCOME mat and unlocked it with the key.

"This place is wonderful," he smiled and followed her in.
