Her mother placed the pie down on the table. "Wow Mom, you haven't made one of those in years," Maddy said smiling. -
"That's so kind of you to make." Akira smiled.

Maddy's mother smiled. "Well, it is a special occasion, and besides, I've been dying to bake one of these again," she said. "Would you like a slice?"
(xD i feel like a mother) -
"Sure, thanks Jennifer." He wasn't used to addressing mothers by their first names.

Jennifer served Akira and Maddy some pie and cleared their plates from dinner. "You two can eat out on the porch if you'd like. There's a beautiful sunset tonight," she said as she washed dishes. Maddy blushed a bit.

Akira smiled and took Maddy's hand as they went outside.

Maddy held Akira's hand as they sat down on the front steps. She smiled and gasped when she saw the setting sun over the horizon. It was a bright yellow/orange, surrounded by bright magentas, yellows, and reds. She leaned her head on Akira's shoulder as she gazed into the sunset. (i can't stop thinking about pie now. xD)

(xD Yesh) He smiled and put his arm around her, looking out into the sunset as well.

Without taking her eyes off of the setting sun, Maddy whispered, "It's so beautiful..."

"Yeah, but I think it's jealous of you." He kissed her forehead.

Maddy smiled and blushed. "Because I have you."

He smiled. "Aww."

She kissed him. (xD so much effort here, folks.)
