(UH HUH! BANANA WAFFLES! YUM!)
He then walked with her to class. "Glad it's almost the end of the day." He smiled. -
"Yeah. And it's almost Friday. The burden of school has almost been lifted off of our shoulders."

"Thank God." He watched as the teacher started the lesson.

Maddy smiled and mouthed, "With you on that," as the teacher started talking. Today's lesson was about how to write an effective business letter.

Akira listened but was a bit bored with it.

Maddy grabbed her notebook and started sketching a bit, pretending to take notes.

He took some notes and doodled a bunny in the side of the paper. (xD)

(XD dat.... ish... BUNNIFUL!!! XDDD)
She concentrated on the texture of the bunny rabbit (XD i dunnoooooo), making sure to bring out its eyes and nose. -
He smiled and continued drawing his own.

Maddy now moved on to the grass, just as the bell rang. The clatter of chairs scraping against the floor and being flipped up onto the desks filled the school as immediate chatter echoed in the hallways. She wrapped up her drawing, stuck her notebook in her binder and put her own chair up.

He put up his chair as well. "Cute bunny."

Maddy smiled. "I like yours better," she said, referring to his doodle.

"Mine looks like it hopped out of a pillow fight." He smiled and held her hand as they talked into the crowded hallway.

"A very serious pillow fight. He's a trooper," Maddy smiled and held Akira's hand.

"Serious pillowfight indeed!"
