So in this soap, you are going to be a character from a book and kind of do a role play while "interacting" with the other characters.

Gram's worried about me.
Not because I barely leave The Sanctum, or because I've made a list of life-threatening stunts to try before I die (and plan on trying them soon) or even because all I think of is boys and sex.
No, it's not any of that. It's because her houseplant has spots.
Over the past 16 years Gram and Chubs have come to believe that the plant relects my physical and emtional being. And I've come to believe.
The black spots say it all. This is serious. The quiet murmur of Gram and Chubs's voices echo into the kitchen were I'm sitting, reading the only book I've ever known, Wuthering Heights.
"What do you mean it won't get better?" Frets Gram, wringing her hands around the handle of the watering can she's holding.
Chubs sighs, "This plant is not going to get better." Then in a quieter voice he says, "Lennon is not going to get better." -
The girl's chanting remained, looping in my head, like a broken record player. I still heard them chanting.
"Plug it up! Plug it up!"
I still continued home. Not that home was any safer. -
(BTW, so you can tell the difference, I'll be writing Carrie's thoughts in first person and Sue's in third)

This place sucks, my life sucks, everything about this crummy village sucks. Everyone is happy, except for me. Everyone is well fed, except for me. Everyone is happy about our government, except for me. I don't know why things are the way they are, but I plan on finding out. Tomarrow I'm taking a boat to sail to Kilquade, and from there I will find my way to the Americas. I may travel back here later on, and I may not. But that's oky, as long as I know thee's something better out there.

Gram comes into the kitchen and sits across from me. Chubs settles in on the couch to watch a show about exploding cakes. I turn to Gram.
"Toby's coming over tonight," she says, her bottom lip quivering a bit. I knew how fond Gram was of Toby. Toby always kept Hailey on the right track, made her happy, and made the rest of our family smile. He was as much of the family as Hailey. And when he stopped coming around, it was like losing another grand-kid to Gram.
I nod, and push away from the table. I need to be alone, more than ever, to prepare myself to see Toby again.
Gram seems to sense this and lets me leave. -
Argh, I gtg.
Be on laterz. Bye! -
Thoughts of Carrie invaded Sue Snell's head as the lesson continued. A disgusted felling consumed her. Disgusted with herself.
-
"Marita! Get your lazy ass in here and help me clean! We have guests comming over tonight, and I expect the house to be spick and span!" That is Lady Harrold. She's mean, spiteful, and does whatever she can to make me miserable. To her, I'm like her servent. I might as well do as she says, before I'm finally free of her.
