Okie, well Marita goes to the U.S but in the book it doesn't say where.........
I guess she could land in Maine -

Woo! Fast forwarding to when Marita is closing in on Maine
I had made it! I reached Kilquade and was now on my way to the Americas. The people in Kilquade are so nice, they offered me a ride on one of their large and facy ships. We are now nearing a place they call "Maine." What will this Maine place look like? -
Carrie felt her feet become numb from walking. A bike swerved around her, driven by a little boy.
'Creepy Carrie! Creepy Carrie!' he taunted. She glared at him. Suddenly, the boy toppled off of his bike.
(brb) -
We've now reached the dock at Maine. I thanked the captain, and walked to a small road. From there, I headed North in search of a village. Or, as people in the Americas would call it, a town.

I gasped. The boy gave me a dirty look, obviously accusing me. I continued onward, blocking it out of my mind. -

It had nearly been an hour before I saw someone. I couldn't tel if it was a girl or boy, or what age it was due to the distance. I contonued onward, hoping it was someone who could help.

It only took me a short while to realize someone was approaching me. An unfamiliar girl.

It was a girl. She didn't look out of the ordinary at all, which was good. What was even better was she wore no scowl upon her face, and she didn't seem like an evil character at all.

I began to approach the stranger. 'Hello.' I nodded.

"Hello to you as well." I replied, giving a small smile.

I smiled back at her. She seemed trustworthy, after all. 'I've never seen you before.' I enquired 'Are you new here?'
