Daisuke, knowing that they had to be well heated to survive the night, put his okay arm very tightly around Akira. Which probably wasn't the best idea.

He felt the other man's arm wrapped around him and it made him a bit nervous. He felt a bit trapped now, but he didn't say anything and just shut his eyes tight, trying to ignore it.

"Goodnight," he said in his deep frightening voice. Yep, totally making everything better.

That scared Akira even more and a whimper of fear slipped out. "Goodnight," he said in a small shaky voice.

Daisuke ignored the whimper and closed his eyes, falling asleep almost instantly despite the pain.

Akira laid there for a long time, partly so he could keep guard and partly because he was too afraid to sleep.

Of course, in his dreams he was having those terrible nightmares of his.

Akira was unaware of Daisuke's nightmares and just laid there, trying to think of nothing.

The majority of his nightmares were just of how he was raped back when he was little. He could remember each other the sick men's faces, and the sound of his own screams as he was forced to say lewd things like "I'm a whore!". It was the nightmares he had every night, and yet he was not used to it.
But he never did show a sign of his dreams, except for the fact that his grip on anything would get tighter. -
The arm around him tightened and Akira's heartbeat quickened. He started hyperventilating a bit and started to cry. But he didn't really want to disturb Daisuke's sleep so he stayed as quiet as he could manage.

Daisuke woke up anyways, feeling the disturbance.

Akira had his hands covering his face and he was shaking.

He didn't bother to make Akira stop. He only stared at him, somewhat with pity.

Akira tried calming down, but the arm was still around him and he couldn't calm down while he still felt trapped.

Dai removed his arm, looking down curiously at the boy.
